Let's Get Your Book Published

Inspired action doesn’t always begin as a plan of action. It isn't always something you think about ahead of time where you create a list of steps to take to making your dream a reality. You know in your gut when you need to make a move.

Today we have a special author interview. I worked with Davide back in 2018 on his book being apologetic, empowering you to become an influential speaker and visionary leader. I've invited authors I've worked with over the years to join me in a new series of shows where I will be interviewing them as we talk about what their book is about, how the book has helped them personally or professionally and where they are now. The thing I love about doing these interviews the most is really getting to know my clients and of course sharing them with you because honestly I love them all. I am definitely my client's biggest fan. Please welcome Davide Di Giorgio...

It’s really not the norm to be talking about pricing for publishing a book…or really any business services for that matter! But, I want to talk with you about what often stops people from taking the dive into any business venture…”Yeah, that all sounds great, but what is it going to cost me?”

Writing a book is an investment. You need to know that up front. It’s an investment of time and money to produce it and it’s a lifetime worth of self promotion if you want to sell it or the products and services it represents.

Let’s talk about how a book can be a part of this pivot. A book can help position you as you move into something new. You can use it as a part of an interview process on the other side of the open door of all things coronavirus or you can use it to expand your platform.

First let’s look at what we are going through now during this pandemic. How can you relate to this current situation as this will be meaningful as a common element to hook in your reader. Your book has an opportunity to grab a large audience that can relate. The entire planet is in the same place right now. So, what is your proposed solution?

Well… we’ve figured out we are inside a bit longer than a few days. How much journaling have you been doing? How much deep thinking or meditating have you been doing? What have you accomplished in all things self-growth or new business initiatives? If you are any kind of entrepreneur you know this time is a tremendous gift…an opportunity to get ahead!

What is it that you have learned, what have you conquered, what have you contemplated in your time behind the closed doors of this quarantine? How have you grown? What has been realized? Have you been witness to your strengths? How about your weaknesses? What do you feel compelled to share?

Have you learned new ways that you now feel compelled to teach? Can you organize your thoughts in the structure of a book? Where have you seen the need for change and how can you improve it? Are you a medical professional on the front lines that now has new ideas for a future crisis? A food service with new ways to enhance delivery? A delivery service with new ways to protect workers? A business owner with ideas to enhance ways of working from home? Have you watched the earth heal as it’s humans have stayed home and now can propose new ideas for helping our environment. What have you observed that now can be wrapped into a book and shared with the world?

We are all going through a major shift in our human consciousness. We are raw and scared and exhausted and questioning life as we once knew it. We are busy thinking about yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Our minds are full and we suddenly have found some extra time on our hands.

Maybe you are using this time to re-align with a better future, taking classes, or updating your resume. Perhaps now you are planning, calculating, and thinking about your next move on the other side of that open door. Maybe you are thinking more about aligning with your passion and your purpose?

I know that as an author of several books I find my peace in writing. How about you? If you now suddenly have a lot of free time on your hands…have you ever considered writing a book? Maybe time has been your primary excuse? Maybe now you have gained more clarity on your life purpose or it’s time to re-work your path or tell your story. Are you healing wounds in this time? Are you opening up old ones? What has this time brought into focus for you?

I challenge you to dig deep into self and begin writing your manuscript!
