women), and 5.7% of adults older than 60 years. Approximately 280 million
people in the world have depression. A new report released by Boston Consulting
Group (BCG) reveals that, on average, 48% of workers from eight countries
indicate that they are currently grappling with burnout.
Kareen Aristide is a passionate force on a mission to
empower individuals to unlock their full potential—professionally, personally,
and spiritually. With an illustrious career spanning nearly 25 years, she has
left an indelible mark as a pastor, speaker, trainer, coach, consultant, and
author. Dedicated to personal and professional growth, Kareen focuses on mental
health, aiming to educate individuals of all ages on the intricate connection
between personality and mental well-being.
Currently contributing to Dr. Marina Milyavskaya’s Goal
Pursuit and Self-Regulation Lab as a research assistant, Kareen is currently
working on her second book, 'Supercharge Your Wellbeing', which delves into
evidence-informed personal development and mental health strategies tailored to
individual personalities. This work reflects her mission to empower readers on
their journeys towards mental wellness.
Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a minor in
Neuroscience and Mental Health from Carleton University, Kareen achieved Dean's
List honors upon graduation in 2020. Currently, Kareen is pursuing further
academic excellence through a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Cognitive Science.
Her dedication to lifelong learning and development is a testament to her
Beyond academia, she is a Certified DISC Human Behavior
Master Trainer (Qualifying) with Personality Insights and a Certified Speaker
with Expert Speaker. In 2019, Kareen was acknowledged as one of the Top 100
Black Women to Watch in Canada by CIBWE (Canada International Black Women
Event). She also founded She Did It! Elle a osé! in 2018, a movement nurturing
the personal and professional growth of women entrepreneurs.
Celebrating 25 years of marriage, Kareen takes pride in
being a mother of five children aged 18 to 24, inspiring some of them to
venture into entrepreneurship themselves.
