The first segment is regarding people posting hateful comments on social media with extreme comfort. It's incredible to me!! The second segment is about the communication barrier with Karen and EVERYBODY!!

This episode describes why I decided to start this book series Cut From A Different Cloth to bring awareness to the issues that are relevant to my community and the foundation of being a black woman! Also, bringing some familiar names and historic places in Omaha to the forefront!! This book is an emotional roller coaster...its everything!! Generational Mysery is just like anything else that is generational, including wealth! It's a learned behavior and celebrated/encouraged way too much in the black community. Although it exist in other races households, I can only speak to MY community. Take generational wealth for example...the wealthy "keep it in the family", hence able to grow the wealth generationally. That system is equivalent to the mindset of a child that grew up in poverty, around drugs and alcohol and gangs, or verbal/physical/sexual abuse! Once seeds are planted in our minds of what life looks like, it becomes programmed in our thought process to believe our surroundings is what we're destined to experience in this life. I want to share the process of how I reversed the curse of generational misery and you can too!!!

I asked my husband to do a episode with me to get a male perspective of the black women having a substantial amount of masculinity in a relationship. I wanted to hear his opinion since we have had this issue in out own marriage. Because I know his mother and sisters, I understand that he may have been programmed to accept it. That-is unacceptable to me. So, we had a conversation about it. Lets get into it!!

Child Support amongst others systems that we were programmed to believe are here to "help" the poor to middle class community. Welfare, foster care, public housing, the public school system and child support are all apart of this BS. Take a listen....

I find it intriguing that Will Smith and his wife have a non-minogomous marriage, and somehow it works! Allowing other to step in and compensate where you can not takes a lot of courage and security within yourself. Just something to think about, in a realistic mindset.
