Denise is a life coach with a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling as well as a master's degree in education. Through research, she learned about the paralyzing effects abuse and many other emotionally traumatic experiences can have on an individual's life. She knew that she wanted to help people learn to cope with their experiences instead of being imprisoned by them. She wanted to assist people who wanted to live in a body, mind, and spirit they understood, instead of one they were afraid of or did not know.
During her studies at Cambridge College in Boston, she did extensive research on sexual abuse and its implications in learning environments. During this search, She discovered parts of herself in the statistical findings of what people who experienced trauma After completing that research for her master's in education, She realized She wanted to learn more about the impact, ramifications, and day-to-day residue that sexual abuse and other traumas leave behind and help others rediscover their identity pre-trauma.
