I got licensed by the Relationship Coaching institute and began working in the men’s movement in the early 90s and wound up coaching men and women, couples and singles. I met my wife Judith Claire, a successful personal, career, and relationship counselor who has been practicing for over 40 years. Together we wrote two books. I have written over a dozen books and have 9 published on Amazon and several other online retailers. A few of my books are, Biome Lock, the first novel in a completed alien invasion dystopian series, The Accidental Insurgent, a post-apocalyptic dystopian novel, The Chronicles of Ziel DeLaine, a series of novellas with three books currently out, and You Won't Know Her Name, a haunting novel told in poetry that tackles the tough topic of bullying in middle school. I recently wrote and published a companion poetry book to You Won't Know Her Name, tilted, I know her Name, and I have several more books written, either a part of a series or standalone, and I am constantly writing more!

In his former position, he drove strategies and efforts for the advancement of UCLA through legislation, policy, regulation and relationship building. He identified opportunities for funding, partnerships, and engagement. In the executive position as a senior director with Time Warner Cable, Benbow expanded the company’s brand across new communities and helped open doors for social impacting partnerships.
