Now that school is back in session - one of the best things you can do is find your nearest salt room. It has really changed my life! I don't get as sick as I used to with school germs and allergies. In my practice, I am seeing more kids come through the door with a tongue tie. If you don't know what a tongue tie is: It's when the tongue is attached to the bottom of the mouth. This makes it difficult to make speech sounds. I am so excited to talk with Speech Language Pathologist; Tami Teshima of Duncan Lake Speech Therapy (www.duncanlakespeechtherapy.com) about a tongue tie. On this episode we talk about some of the indicators that a tongue tie is negatively affecting your child's speech and when the best time to address this issue in a child's life.
