Navigating Preschool and Daycare can be tricky. Usually, this is a child's first experience away from you and away from home. In this episode, I break down what to look for as you are touring preschools. Also, the process most schools will walk your child through before they are asked to leave. I also give you a game plan of what to do if your child is asked to leave a school or daycare.

Now that school is back in session - one of the best things you can do is find your nearest salt room. It has really changed my life! I don't get as sick as I used to with school germs and allergies. It has also helped me work through anxiety. On today's episode I am so excited to talk to my friend Felicia Paredes - Owner of the Salt Room of Oveido. In my practice, I am seeing more kids come through the door with a tongue tie. If you don't know what a tongue tie is: It's when the tongue is attached to the bottom of the mouth. This makes it difficult to make speech sounds. I am so excited to talk with Speech Language Pathologist; Tami Teshima of Duncan Lake Speech Therapy (www.duncanlakespeechtherapy.com) about a tongue tie. On this episode we talk about some of the indicators that a tongue tie is negatively affecting your child's speech and when the best time to address this issue in a child's life.
