Episode 637: This is a very exciting episode. Today I’ve got Ryan Cronin & his wife, Melanie on the pod. Ryan is a graffiti artist along the lines of Basqiat & Keith Haring. In fact, the reason i wanted to talk to him this time is because they were able to feature some Keith Haring pieces in their own gallery!!
Ryan also talks about how Keith has been an inspiration to him since middle schoolI mean, It’s as if Ryan’s life has come full circle. I am so happy for these guys and I knew I had to find out all about this. How did they make the connections? what all was involved? What’s it like seeing your work alongside of your inspiration?

Episode 635: Listen as I chat with author, Christopher C. Gorham about his first, but definitely not last art novel, Matisse at War, where he captures Matisse’s time spent in Nazi-occupied France during WW2. It’s a fascinating look at an artist’s search for meaning. We talk art…we talk war…we talk writing. All sorts of gold in this chat.
