The Amazing Chris Guenzler will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about Winterail 2012 in Stockton California that is always held the 2nd Weekend in March. He will share with you how he gets to Stockton then the Friday Night Railfan Magazine and NRHS Pizza Party where he shows he Year of Trains in the Life of Chris Guenzler every year and all the programs at that event. Saturday the Winterail Swap Meet is talked about then all the programs on that day are talked about plus the Winterail Hall Of Fame winner is anounced. He tells you what we did on Sunday before heading home.

This week's Let's Talk Train, we will visit with the Assistant Director of Illinois Department of Transportation Joseph Shacter and how Illinois does passenger rail right, and the update on the Higher Speed line progress between Chicago and St. Louis and the Midwest High Speed Rail Association Director, Richard Harnish. Richard will fill us in on the high speed rail projects going on in the midwest. In the Model Railroad Club of the week, we will talk to the Big Bend Railroad Club of Webster Groves in Missouri. The Amazing Chris Guenzler talks about trips from 7/13/2011 to 2/4/2012. He starts us out in Missouri for the second run of the Columbia Star Dinner Train. Then he talks about the first Summer La Plata Railfan Event. The drive to Rock Island to Train Festival and all the event of it. He then finishing up the year with the Amtrak 40th Anniversay Train in San Diego and Los Angeles. We finished up with the Train Riders Coast Starlight Trip over Tehachapi Loop and  Altamont Pass Trip.  Future trip were also discussed.

This week, we travel back to Kirkwood, Missouri to find how the City of Kirkwood bought the Kirkwood AMTRAK station and operate it. We will talk with the Mayor of Kirkwood, Art McDonnell and Station Master Bill Burckhalter and a station volunteer. We will also talk with the former tourism director of Washington, MO about how Washington became a AMTRAK stop, what we can do as railfans can do to help or city own station.

The Amazing Chris Guenzler hosts this show we will have Juergen Keller of South America of South American Travel and we will be discussing Passenger tours in South America. He tells us about all the train trips they run in Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Boliva. You will learn plenty of information on this exciting continent and he will tell you the highlights of each route they take in South America. This is a new area for us on Lets Talk Train.
