Hello World! Welcome to the Let's Talk ... Audio podcast! This episode was recorded in person in mid-November 2019. Our guest is an Austin, TX based, Front-of-House engineer, with lots of time behind the boards at Stubbs, Empire Control Room, the Parish, the Continental Club, to name a few. She's also got a background in the military, as well as a philosophy degree. We met some years ago and she's been an excellent mentor to me.

Hello World! Welcome to the Women in Audio Update! So, I wanted to give you all a heads up, that I will be changing the name of the Women in Audio Podcast to Let's Talk...Audio! Stuff and things happened that led to this decision. However, I am very excited about it. Same content just a different name. Plus as an added bonus I can now interview other minorities in audio from time to time.

This was one of my first recorded episodes before the 'rona shutdown started. We talked a lot about their journey in building their partnership and studio business, as well as other tomfoolery.

Hello World! This special episode of Women in Audio is coming at you sooner than planned because Lisa has been super supportive of me, and I wanna be super supportive in return (Note: this is Not a Sponsored episode). And her organization omnisoundproject.com now has classes live! I just attended one Thursday night (via Zoom) about setting up a home studio, and it killed!

Anyway Lisa and I had a great chat on various things. Topics included: learning to take compliments with grace, her history in business, and how/why she started omnisoundproject (I thought all this illustrated some great leadership qualities).

This was our first interview virtually thru Squadcast.
