As a chronic illness warrior, Nat Kelley of @plentyandwellwithnat knows what it takes to heal mind, body, and spirit. After being diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, Nat made it her mission to not only heal herself but others too. Her experience with UC has taught Nat what it takes to feel her best while also living a full life. With the knowledge she’s gained, Nat now coaches and supports other women facing similar struggles so that they too can reclaim their life. Through food, movement, treatment, and internal work, Nat has learned how to thrive in life even with a chronic condition. She shares why proper rest is so important, how to support mental/emotional well-being, and letting go of fear in the face of uncertainty.
In this episode we discuss:
- Nat’s work with the IBD and health community
- Supporting mental and emotional well-being
- How yoga has allowed her to heal both body and spirit
- Moving past exercise addiction and allowing for rest
- Letting go of control in times of uncertainty
- Living with PTSD and learning to grow from it
- Connecting to our inner wisdom
- Celebrating the small wins along the way
