This episode starts out with talk of things going on at home and general goings on in Dad's life. It ends up with some very in depth and critical discussion about his job situation and the people he works for.

These next letters give us some insight as to some trouble brewing on the baseand what they are doing about it. Chuck shares his thoughts on possibly taking a longer tour overseas with the family.

In these letters we find out that Chuck has to be the bad guy and wash an incompentent pilot out of the program. We get plenty of family talk and really get some poignant thoughts about his missing home.

We have some interesting mysteries in this episode. Chuck reveals much more about his job and how he is dealing with being away from home and what his life is like there

Adult language and content in this episode. Chuck is pretty sure at this point that he is not going to be transferred, but he talks about a couple of things going well for him at least.

In these next four letters Dad get's big news about a new job change and what he will have to do if it comes through including water survival training. He also gets the world that he will be able to move out of the temporary "box" he's been living in and into permanent quarters.

The letters in the episode talk about Dad's experiences getting settled into life in Osan and a lot about his feelings about what is going on back home. Dad mentions his friend Alex Butterfield for the first time, and a painting of me that we still have.

These next three letters are full of discussion about the family. There is more about flying too, and Dad's thoughts about a job change. We find out more about the secretary and get some gossipy news about friends of theirs.

In letters 6,7 & 8 we hear Dad’s reaction when our Mother tells him she has a job. He talks some more about his injured finger and working in temperatures so hot he has to keep his arm and hand off the paper when he writes to keep from sticking to it.

We read the next three letters in this episode. Dad gets a much needed radio and has an interesting first meeting with the office secretary. He talks about his current job and discusses other possibilities that could present themselves.
