In letters 6,7 & 8 we hear Dad’s reaction when our Mother tells him she has a job. He talks some more about his injured finger and working in temperatures so hot he has to keep his arm and hand off the paper when he writes to keep from sticking to it.

We read the next three letters in this episode. Dad gets a much needed radio and has an interesting first meeting with the office secretary. He talks about his current job and discusses other possibilities that could present themselves.
