ضيف الحلقة هو الصحافي والإعلامي عبدالرحمن الراشد، والذي يُعدّ المؤسّس الفعلي لقناة العربية. وتحدّث ضيفنا في هذه الحلقة عن قناة العربية وهدفها ودورها الحالي في الإعلام العربي مقارنةً بدور القنوات الإعلامية الأخرى. يقول عبدالرحمن الراشد إنَّ الاختلاف الرئيس بين قناة العربية وقناة الجزيرة يتمثَّل في أنَّ العربية قامت على فكرة الظهور بمحطة تقدم فكرًا جديدًا. محطَّة إخباريّة تسائل الأطروحات العتيقة والأساليب القديمة، ولا تنجرف وراء الفكر الإعلامي المحافظ، بل تقدم أطروحات مضادة لعداء التحديث والتجديد.  فالقناة ظهرت في فترة لم يكن لتلفاز الخبر فيها أيّ انتشارٍ على المستوى العربي، بل كانت صناعة جديدة لسوق ينقصه الكفاءات من المذيعين والمحرّرين والمخرجين. أمَّا عن مشكلة قلة وجود الموظفين السعوديين في قناة العربية، يفسر عبدالرحمن الراشد بأنها محطة تمتلكها السعودية، لكنها عربية موجّهة للعالم العربي ككلّ؛ لذلك يعمل بها أُناس من مختلف أنحاء العالم العربي. كما تحدث ضيفنا عن التغييرات التي تطرأ على الإعلام سواءً على المستوى السياسي أو التقني. فوسائل التأثير تتغيّر، وبدأ الإعلام يرتقي لمستوى التقنية. وأنّ إنشاء محطّة وإنتاج المعلومات ما عادا حصرًا على التلفاز أو تطبيقات الأخبار أو المواقع فقط، بل أصبح هناك إعلامٌ جديد يتمثل في وسائل التواصل الإجتماعي كتويتر وفيس بوك.  ووضَّح عبدالرحمن الراشد أنَّ في صناعة المحتوى، فالمؤسّسات الإعلامية هي المحرّك الرئيس في وسائل التواصل الإجتماعي؛ لأن مع كثرة الأخبار التي تنتشر هنا وهناك، يبحث الناس عن الخبر الموثوق في المؤسسات الإعلامية ذات المصداقية. توسّع بعد ذلك في الحديث عن المشروع الإعلامي والعمل في الإعلام ومهنة  الصحافي، وذكر حقيقة تزايد القنوات الإخبارية. فسابقًا كانت المنافسة محصورة بين العربية والجزيرة، بينما تظهر اليوم قنوات أكثر تنافس في تقديم الخبر للشرائح الصغيرة. كما تطرق ضيفنا إلى الحديث عن حرية الصحافة، وأهمية الاستفادة منها بطريقة غير هدَّامة. الحلقة 222 من بودكاست فنجان، مع عبدالرحمن الراشد. تستطيع أن تستمع للحلقة من خلال تطبيقات البودكاست على الهاتف المحمول. نرشّح الاستماع للبودكاست عبر تطبيق Apple Podcasts على الآيفون iPhone، وتطبيق Google Podcasts على الأندرويد.  ويهمنا معرفة رأيكم عن الحلقات، وتقييمك للبودكاست على Apple Podcast. وتستطيع أن تقترح ضيفًا لبودكاست فنجان بمراسلتنا على: [email protected] اضغط على الرابط واشترك في Storytel واستمتع بالعرض: مدة شهرين بسعر شهر واحد خاص لمستمعي ثمانية. تعرّف أكثر على باقات المفوتر من خلال الرابط. الروابط:

بدايةً، تناولنا خلفية عبدالله والأثر الذي خلفته فيه دراسته في الخارج، وكيف غيّره شغفه للتقنية والعملات وجعله يتوجه لتأسيس منصة «رين» لتداول العملات الرقمية.  سألنا عبدالله عن تعريف البتكوين، ولم قرر الاستثمار فيه من دون العملات الرقمية الأخرى، وعن شبكة «البلوك تشين» وحمايتها لعملات البتكوين الخاصة بك. كما سألناه عن رحلة تأسيس منصة «رين»، وهي ‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏أول منصة مُرخصة لتداول العملات الرقمية في الشرق الأوسط. كما سألناه عن شركائه الثلاثة، وكيف تعرف عليهم، ومحاولاته الفاشلة في الحصول على ترخيص لتشغيل هذه المنصة في السعودية. ثم كيف انتهى به المطاف في اجتماع دام ثلاث ساعات بمصرف البحرين المركزي، ليقنعهم بجدوى تأسيس الشركة هناك.  حدثنا عبدالله المعيقل عن الصعوبات وأبرز المشاكل التي تواجههم إلى الآن، وعن حجب بعض البنوك لحساباتهم وتذبذب سعر البتكوين الذي يجعل الاستثمار فيه مخاطرةً كبيرة جدًا، ويقلل من اهتمام الناس به.
