  • #HotTake | Streaming ruined the music and entertainment industry

Streaming has ruined the profitability of entertainment for the artists. It's been proven that the creatives don't get a decent piece of the pie with streaming, but is it too late to change how we consume content?

  • Artist Development - Why old artists sell tour but new artists don't | #LEXCHAT

This week on LEXCHAT, our topic comes from a Twitter post that made a great point! The post said artist development included stage performance and how artists no longer go through local to regional to national channels before hitting big. THAT'S why older artists still have the advantage over these newer artists!

    What are your thoughts?

  • #HotTake | Sales are down because artists are lazy

While there are so many factors that play into the success of an artist, part of the reason is the mentality introduced by social media and the notion of going viral. What do you think the issue is?

  • #BookReview | "Growing Up Shared" by Stacy Steinbeck

This was a very interesting read, and the questions posed in this book are good to ask for creatives as well as families. Do you feel pressured to share everything and constantly make content?
