LEXCHAT with LexC

Here's a bit of insight into my history and how certain things have shaped who I am today, starting with a song I grew up listening to and singing - "God Send Me An Angel" by Amanda Perez.

I showed a performance from Pregame Union EAV. During that performance, I forgot my lyrics! I'm "checking" myself on how I can do better for the next performance.

*Questions for myself*

2:27 Why did I forget my lyrics?

4:14 Why didn't I rehearse the song enough?

5:24 How can I fix these issues?

7:15 What goals should I have moving forward?

7:57 What am I currently doing well, and what should I continue doing?

*Questions for YOU (the viewer)*

1. What are some things you're struggling with?

2. Have you taken time to think about how you can improve?

3. What are some things you can do to improve?

4. What are you currently doing, or what WILL you do, to get better?

The original post date of this video was Dec. 3, 2009. Back then, my friends and I created a group called Melodikxistence - made up of myself, Jay (Shierye), and Charity - featuring our friend Portia Rae. This performance was for a showcase organized by our creative club, The Aesthetics Club, at Mililani High School in Miliani, O'ahu, Hawai'i.

As success comes, always keep yourself grounded by reminding yourself where you started and remembering who you are. Watch yourself!  If you have anything you need motivation for, let me know, and I'll see about making a motivation video just for you!
