While showcasing resilience in the face of adversity helped me overcome challenges very early in life, I was able to manage much of what I did because I had an entire village rooting and cheering for me every step of the way. I would now like to pay it forward by encouraging others to persevere to succeed, however hard and lonely their path might seem. L’(Extra)ordinaire, my audiobook of poems, is an ode to the power of different-ness and a tribute to the value of kindness and empathy. I hope that it encourages others to look beyond their different-ness and enjoy small victories in everyday life!
