Where do the liberals, conservatives, libertarians, and counterculture conservatives meet? At the farmers market. I myself am a counterculture conservative, also known as a minarchist. If you ask the republicans I am a liberal because I don't worship corporations and I'm ant-war. If you ask the liberals I am a Nazi because I don't believe in gender pronouns or critical race theory. Libertarians say I am not a real libertarian because I don't fully agree with the NAP. There is a murky place in the middle where the political viewpoints meet and that is where you will find me.

Acedia (/əˈsiːdiə/; also accidie or accedie /ˈæksɪdi/, from Latin acedĭa, and this from Greek ἀκηδία, "negligence", ἀ- "lack of" -κηδία "care") has been variously defined as a state of listlessness or torpor, of not caring or not being concerned with one's position or condition in the world. In ancient Greece akidía literally meant an inert state without pain or care.[1] Early Christian monks used the term to define a spiritual state of listlessness and from there the term developed a markedly Christian moral tone. In modern times it has been taken up by literary figures and connected to depression.

Its a very real demonic spirit which compells you to seek what you do not have, lust for what you do not need, and discard the good and Godly things that are in front of you here and now. Ultimately left checked, this spirit will ruin your life and leave you empty, alone, and detached from the world and even God. Recognize it, fight it, never give up. Here are some resources.

Vaccines can be great for humanity when done well and tested for side effects. During times of pandemic the traditional safeguards are lifted and we do not thoroughly test vaccines like we should. Here is what happened during the last pandemic in 1976 when we rushed vaccines.

It seems like there is plenty of legitimate evidence to support the the idea that this election was not all fair and accurate. Trump, Powell, Giuliani, Wood, and a few others are going basically solo trying to rally the support needed to address this. But where is the larger Republican apparatus? They cant be bothered to join forces and fight against this alleged fraud but why? They either do not believe it, or want Trump to lose.

Critical theory is the ideology behind all the weird fringe ideas coming from the communist left. It is a tool of the devil to sew chaos, panic, disorder, and conflict everywhere all at once. The basic idea is that people view the world through a lens of conflict and power struggle of groups. Critical theory rejects the idea of objective truth, inserts subjective truth, and as a result all people are free to make up their own reality and self define as they choose. On the surface this NBD, but the issue becomes when they try to operate in the real world. Because there is no objective truth, everything is just competing agendas between groups at odds with each other. Any attempt to reason with, or persuade another group with facts and logic is seen as "oppression". Christians should know this, and reject the premise.

A friend of mine stops by to chat about current events and culture. Every culture is different, and all cultures have some positive attributes to emulate. We talk about how how Western European cultures are the most individualist and how most other cultures are close knit. Long story short your skin color doesn't matter, your values and ideology do.

Kevin served in Iraq where he was exposed to many burn pits. These open air burn pits are a dumping ground for chemicals, toxins, tires, batteries, body parts, trucks, fuel, trash, and everything else you can think of. They release toxins into the air that inhaled 24/7 by US troops. Many of these troops come down with constrictive bronchiolitis which is a terminal lung disease. The VA does not currently recognize this condition and these vets are left to figure it out on their own.

Going to get a little conspiratorial with it for a bit. The subject at hand is The Great Reset, a letter written from Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano to President Trump warns about what he calls the great reset, The idea is that the devil is in control of many politicians, corporations, and even major churches. The goal is to take power away from the masses and send it upward to the "elites". Every major news event is used as a tool to take more control, and covid has been an excellent power grab. The end game is to "reset" the global structure, take liberty away from the people, and give it all to the elites.
