The NBA Finals have begun, and host Adio Royster is still watching -- albeit with tears running down his face. That’s either because the Philadelphia 76ers aren’t in it or because Dario Saric tore his ACL in game one on Tuesday night. Whatever the case, Harrison Grimm joins the podcast again to talk about things they noticed in game one and Harrison’s piece for Liberty Ballers last week about the rapidly increasing challenge that seems to be the Eastern Conference. There are the powerhouses, the competent teams and the up and comers. All will be discussed in this podcast!

On today's episode of The Gastroenteritis Blues (first recorded on the Spotify Greenroom app) Dan, Steve and Emily discuss a whole lot of fake trades for the Sixers.
Among the players discussed: Damian Lillard, Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, De'Aaron Fox + more!
The trio also talks about whether or not we should care about Ben Simmons' brother's likes on Twitter or Joel Embiid's 'turning point' quote.
Enjoy!

Taking a break from all the (justified) bad vibes and discourse following the Sixers' second round exit, Daniel Olinger, Sean Kennedy, and Dan Volpone sat down for an hour-long celebration of all the good things that happened for our favorite team in 2021. Yes, there was still much complaining about Ben Simmons.

Happy 4th of July, Philadelphia 76ers fans. The long weekend is upon us, and a long off-season is upon your Sixers (once again). This seems to be a sad, recurring dream (or nightmare depending on your current feeling). Going into this off-season, there are some major decisions that need to be contemplated. Will Ben Simmons get traded? Will Joel Embiid get his super-max deal? Who will the Sixers target in the free agency or sign-and-trade market? To answer this, host Adio Royster brings Harrison Grimm on the podcast to talk about these and other burning off-season questions. They also talk about their thoughts about the remaining four teams in the NBA Playoffs and what matchups they’d like. (It’s hard to do, but the NBA goes on with or without the Sixers, sadly.)

On today's episode of The Gastroenteritis Blues, Steve, Dan and Emily go all the way through the Sixers' 17-man roster and play a game of Stay-or-Go. They determine for each Sixer whether or not they want them back and whether or not they believe the team will bring them back.
Plus: discussing the summit between Sixers brass and Ben Simmons' agent, Joel Embiid's outrageous snub from First Team All-NBA, his eligibility for the supermax, Damian Lillard's potential availability and much more.

On today's episode of The Gastroenteritis Blues, Emily, Dan, and Steve are still reeling from the Sixers' embarrassing second round loss to the Atlanta Hawks. They discuss end of year media availability from: Doc Rivers, Daryl Morey, Danny Green, BBall Paul and Ben Simmons. They discuss some leaks from the Sixers front office this week, as well as where Simmons' trade value currently stands. Finally, they talk about the emotional bummer of how things have all come to a head with Simmons in Philadelphia.
Plus; a deep dive on former guest Yaron Weitzman's excellent and disheartening Ben piece from earlier in the week.

Christ!
What the hell happened? After game six, most of us as Philadelphia 76ers fans went into Sunday’s game seven with only some belief the Sixers would pull out a game seven win. What happened was heart breaking, depressing, and demoralizing in one 48-minute session of professional basketball. Who is to blame? How do we move forward? How do we all process this? Host Adio Royster will try and start the healing process with his guest Dave Early -- host of the “No Particular Hurry” podcast. Begin the healing. It’s going to be another long off-season of pain, suffering, and rumors. We’re all here for everyone. This is a safe place.
