God has called Christians to Himself and to one another in love and holiness. The outworking of our salvation produces a fellowship that withstands the difficulties and challenges we often face. We live for Christ's sake in the building up of His church.

The peace of Christ must rule in our hearts, otherwise our relationships with God and others will fall apart.

Love for God and love for others should characterize a believer's life. It is a foundational virtue as Christians imitate God grow to be more like Christ.

We all sin and are sinned against. In love we must cover sin by bearing with one another and graciously forgiving each other, just as God has done to us through Christ.

Strife and enmity plague human relationships, but Christ makes it possible for us to live at peace. Because God has shown mercy and love to us, we can do the same to one another.

God has graciously and lovingly chosen to save some who would justly be condemned under His just wrath. Those who have been saved are to live transformed lives in Christ.

The believer's new identity in Christ changes everything. Barriers of ethnicity, religious works, culture, education, social status-these are all irrelevant in relation to knowing Christ and being made more like Him.

Lies and deception characterize the world at large but they have no place in the lives of Christians. Our words must reflect and repeat the truth of God and be intended to encourage those who hear. We long for the day with truth and righteousness will pervade the world under the reign of Christ.

Everyone experiences disappointment, conflict, and strife. But Christians must not and need not respond with anger, wrath, malice, slander, or abusive speech. Because God has loved us when we were sinners, we can love and be loved in the power of Christ.

God is right to judge sin because of his holiness, omniscience, and justice. His wrath is coming, so humble yourself at His feet and believe that Christ paid your debt and gives you His righteousness by grace through faith.
