Day 288 of 15 days to flatten the curve
The TSA reports that 1.2 million people passed through airport screening on December 27th. That just reminds me of more covid hypocrisy. You can spend three hours on a plane, breathing recirculated air, and eat a meal elbow to elbow with strangers but in many states, you can't eat in a restaurant…..at all.
The House of Representatives voted yesterday to raise the $600 stimulus to $2000. Let's see if the Senate can pass the bill.
The house also voted to override the presidential veto on the defense spending bill. If the Senate follows suit, it will be only the 112th time congress was able to override a veto.
The Girl Scouts are suing the Boy Scouts for causing confusion for allowing girls in. So the boy scouts have been sued hundreds of times for being exclusive and now they are being sued for being too inclusive.
Yesterday a federal judge ordered two Georgia counties to stop cleaning their voter rolls.
