Why is that our politicians, especially those running for office, know more about energy than the energy companies. Politicians have a solution to every problem, but the problem they define is always the company making the product, or performing the service. This doesn't make sense, but neither does politics. Why is it that Americans complain about their politicians, but continue to vote in the same elk. Doing the same thing while expecting a different result is at least one definition of insanity. Well, the voter is not insane, but misinformed, ignorant of the Constitution, uneducated, and in many cases, just plain stupid. I received numerous calls and emails regarding the results of the New Hampshire Primary. Each one of those calls referred to voter fraud. This is one aspect that I had not thought about as I am very skeptical of conspiracy theories and the like. However, there may be evidence that Dr. Paul did not receive all the votes that were casted. I'll do my research and report on Sunday evening.

Let's take some time out to discuss the results of the New Hampshire Primary. Libertarians are hoping for Ron Paul to finish better than the mainstream media expects. I have decided to defer our discussion of the energy policy being debated by the candidates in favor of a critique of the Iowa Caucus. It is important to understand who voted and why. We will digress from our usual subject matter to introduce a very interesting individual who is attempting to establish a non-profit organization with the goal of bringing people together regardless of political or religious affiliation. His organization, AUM International, is the vehicle for this endeavor. I'd like to give him air-time as he has convinced me that his goals are worthy, although Herculean in scope.
