In March 2020, our Cottage Grove, WI neighbor and friend Jim Ahearn lost his dear wife Ann to aggressive cancer. Ann was a gorgeous and vibrant 42 years young when she passed. Ann left her two darling children, both under 12 years old and both who are adopted kids of color, to live with their white and newly-widowed single dad. 

Jim is a super-awesome dude, a successful businessman, a budding athlete, and he has a heart of gold which he shares with us all in this episode.
