Solomon Challenges His Son In Four Areas

It seems that Solomon is interupting his teaching on immorality to discuss other things. Perhaps he is pointing out that we are a "package"...every area of our lives matter.

1. Be a man of character v. 1-5
2. Be diligent and industrious v. 6-11
3. Be aware of what God hates v. 16-19
   1. Arrogance
   2. Lying
      1. It is mentioned several times
   3. Destruction
      1. Of the innocent
      2. Of Unity and peace
   4. All of these are sins against others
   5. God hates when we sin against others
