Life and Movies with Lance Matt

Fellow Pittsburgh film maker Blake O'Donnell of BPO films drops by to hand out some gifts and talk about the movies that really made you realize that you loved movies. Blake also tells the story of the unsolicited advice he gave to Quentin Tarantino. Spoiler: He wasn't very smooth.

This week musician Derek Goob drops by to discuss a truly epic topic: 80s Fantasy Movies. Labyrinth, Legend, The Neverending Story, Dark Crystal, and more! The hits are all here. Matt delivers the breakdown of the movie Excalibur that you didn't know you needed.

SFX make up artist Dominique Darko and musician Walter Dicristina join Lance and Matt this week to discuss the Jurassic Park film franchise. Which only naturally leads to discussions about tiger handheld games, extra terrestrials, tornadoes, and the apocalypse.

This week Lance and Matt sit down with an old friend, writer C.J. Lightbourn, to remember the superhero films of 2000-2010. From X-Men to Hellboy to Spider-Man to Watchmen, we don't miss a beat! Also: CJ explains the importance of Meteor Man.  Enjoy!

This week Lance and Matt sit down with Chauncey James and Alexander Cronin of Falling October Productions to discuss the sometimes dubious, sometimes genius era of horror: 2000-2010. The Ring, Saw, Final Destination, and more this week. We also decide what qualifies as "zombie".

This week Lance and Matt are joined by Pittsburgh Sound Engineer Chris Bell for '80s ACTION MOVIES. The boys talk to Chris about all his favorites, how Robocop is like Jesus, why Lethal Weapon is the perfect movie, and a whole lot more!

This week Matt and Lance sit with fellow Pittsburgh podcasters Gregg and Ben of The Neon Brainiacs podcast. We talk and joke about the scary movies on the shelves, the mall jobs of our youth, "Neckflix and chill", the great Beavis and Butthead heist, The '90s PSA, "Cartoon All Stars to The Rescue", and a whole lot more! This is a really funny one, don't miss it!

Lance and Matt's new show starts off showing you just how high-brow it can be when we test the format with our old-friend Ian Russian, and we talk '90s NINJA MOVIES.
