It's so easy to slip into the mindset of pop culture and make living on Earth all about us as individuals
Individual rights seem to take center stage.
However in the end it's like two ticks trying to suck blood from each other... It's empty and leads only to death.
The core or center of anything determines its quality.
The True/Abolute Core/Center of Life is meant to be Jesus Christ/Yeshua HaMashich.
We can then draw from Him.
He gives us His Eternal Life.
For the next several episodes we are going to extol the name, attributes, and presence of Jesus and the high honor it is to be called to follow him in a living and real realtionship.

It has been said that a "Word in Season is like Aples of God in Settings of Silver".
Some words just need to be written.
I read an old letter the other day and in it I found some of those Words of Gold... written in an old letter to someone else grant it not to me first.
Yet, the words have changed my life.

Then God pulls the spirutal curtain back and blows you away with how close He is and has been the whole time.
God is surprising individuals, churches, office buildings, state capitols, nations, and entire continents as He begins to pull back the spiritual curtain one more time.

To know about someone is one thing.
To meet them is a whole other thing.
That is so absolutely true regarding God.
That's why He is pulling back the curtain between the spiritual world and the physical world and giving us a greater glimpse of Who He really is and what He's really like.
Get ready because it's happening whether we believe it or not or even like it or not.
He is going to show us more of Who He really is before He comes back.
He's doing this because He loves us.
He doesn't want us settling for second best!
He is returning in the flesh just like he was resurrected from the dead.
He's alive and He is coming back in the flesh to set up His 1,000 year reign.
After that... The End!

We have a large backyard with a creek running through it... It's our "Urban Meadow".
Our bedroom,/studio/office overlooks the backyard's natural beauty
But, we also have a large window with full length curtains that we draw for privacy and it also helps keep the hot and bright sun from heating up our living space.
However, we like to pull back the curtains from time to time and let the outside and inside become one (even though they were previously seperated and we couldn't see the outside activity).
In God's plan He is pulling back the curtain that seperates the spiritual world from the physical world because it's within the scope of His purposes to do so at this point in history.
We'll be looking at that along with a few other things related to God opening Himself up in the next few podcast episodes.

People who know me know that I don't like to be late or stuck in traffic.
I like to be on time and I don't like waiting or not moving if I'm in control.
Enter God.
His timing does not always match our expectations of how and when things should happen.
After all, we meet in a building on Sundays at a particular time with His Name or cause above the door and we expect Him to show up on time and be there while we're there and leave when we lock up and go home.
He doesn't do things in that order.
So, we've begun to seriously follow Him and his leading... His timing.
Let's take a look at the conclusion of this mini-series on the Ways and the Waves of God and capture a few insiights we can apply to our lives as He continues to reveal more and more of His Presence and Kingdom to us and through us.

Letting go of things we have control over makes some people very uncomfortable.
Fortunately God cares more about developing our character than He does in appeasing our comforts.
It's been said there are even times in which, "God will afflict the comfortable while He comforts the afflicted."
Being filled with God involves letting go of us controlling every aspect of our lives and the lives of those around us.
God wants us to have Spirit-empowered self-control.
Being drunk or high is a cheap substitute for being filled with God.
Getting drunk or high is from the outside in.
God fills us from the inside out!
God doesn't settle for second best and He doesn't want us to either.
My goal is to be continuallycontrolled by and filled with Holy Spirit.
I encourage you to make it yours, too.

Saying something is from God when it's just a man-made show is far too prevelant these days.
I think it's better to say, "Things have been rather quiet in my world lately."
Instead of just making something up in order to keep some type of following impressed with us.
I want people to be impressed with Jesus!
The reason this is such a brief podcast episode is because God has been rather quiet for a few days recently in my world.
Before Holy Spirit really got a hold of me I would to try to make things happen because, after all, that's how things are built aren't they?
Not the Kingdom of God.
So, I will be relatively quiet for as long as things are quiet in my world.
When that changes you will know the reason is God and not religion.
I hope that is as refreshing to you as it is to me.
