The story ends with all of the disciples worshiping Jesus. “Truly you are the Son of God.” This is the first time they say that, and it comes after watching Him feed the multitude and walk on water—do things that only God can do.

Jesus is the Pioneer, the perfecter, the author, and finisher of our faith. We look at him so we don’t lose heart. We look at him so we don’t grow weary. Crazy faith comes from fixing our eyes on Jesus. One of God's name's is Jehovah Jireh—God our Provider! Jesus provided forgiveness and eternal life to you and me by giving himself on the cross. Jesus is Jehovah Jireh - God our provider.
