  • Recovering from Burnout

This was an insightful and interesting conversation talking about burnout and the effects it can have on you. Sally knows all too well having been through it multiple times and yet here she is still moving forward and helping others! Sally is an inspirational and empowering woman who continues to learn and share her learnings with others. I really hope that you enjoy this episode and take something away from it :)

Sally McGrath is an advocate for preventative health, empowering employers and employees, to make improvements and changes to

workplace well-being, removing the shame associated with burning out, and importantly creating awareness and prevention around the topic of burnout.

In 2014 Sally experienced life-changing burnout, preventing her from working for two years. It was the challenge to overcome acute illness

that inspired Sally to take her message to and through workplaces to create awareness about the serious nature of burnout and the associated mental health implications that were not spoken about.

Sally's practice Health that Heals has been built around supporting perfectionists & high achievers to recover and prevent burning out.

  • Intuitive Life Coach

Mila is one of those people that you are drawn to as she exudes compassion and empathy :) When we set up this episode I only knew about Mila from her social media and I thought that was enough! When I learnt her full story, I was in awe of what a strong and courageous woman she really is :) I hope you enjoy this conversation with this inspirational human being.

    From Mila:

As I was moving through my own healing journey, I began to pick up many tools along the way that where helping me heal and grow. I was filling my cup, and eventually, I felt like it was overflowing. That was the time when I began to ask myself, how can I share my strength with others? How can I help other people find their own strength? How can I share what was coming through me?

Coaching wasn’t the plan, but it became a passion. As I began my coaching journey, with every session I felt more and more alive and fulfilled. I knew, I found my calling. The love that fills me when I work with clients, is the love I give to them during my sessions.

If you asked me what I bring to my clients, I can say from the reflection on all my past clients, that I help them find their own strength. I help them heal the parts that block them from recognizing their own potential, and from believing in themselves.

  • IVF, Fertility and your Mental Health

Louise is so inspiring and strong! I don't know a lot about IVF but in this conversation I learnt a lot about some of the reasons that IVF may not be working.

Have a listen and let me know what you think :)

From Louise - My purpose in life is to transform the mindset and remove the phycological blocks preventing successful women from conceiving and delivering a healthy baby. To unlock the key to their hearts and allow them to live their lives in true alignment with the values of love, joy, belief, and trust. This is where the magic happens, miracles occur, and dreams come true.

  • An Overview of Cults

This is one of my favourites from last year! The new season starts next week and I cant wait for you to hear the new guests and some returning favourites.

I loved speaking to Janja :) It was a great honour to speak to someone who has such a depth of understanding around cults and the control they have over people. I hope to speak with her again in the future.

Janja Lalich, Ph.D., Professor Emerita of Sociology, is an international authority on cults, extremism, and coercion. She specializes in self-sealing, or closed, systems (cults, narcissistic relationships, human trafficking, ideological extremism) with a particular focus on recruitment, indoctrination, and methods of influence and control. She has been an avid contributor to the field for more than 30 years through her research, publications, presentations, and social media.

Dr. Lalich is Founder and CEO of the Lalich Center on Cults and Coercion, a 501c3 organization with tax-deductible status. The mission of the Lalich Center is to provide life-saving resources to survivors of cults, programs in the Troubled Teen Industry, and narcissistic families or relationships. The Lalich Center prides itself on its collaborative approach and the ability to provide safe spaces for survivors through courses, workshops, and discussion groups.

She is author of six books, including the now classic, Take Back Your Life: Recovering from Cults and Abusive Relationships; her theoretical work, Bounded Choice: True Believers and Charismatic Cults; and Escaping Utopia: Growing Up in a Cult, Getting Out and Starting Over. She also co-authored two books with Dr. Margaret Thaler Singer: Cults in Our Midst and “Crazy” Therapies: What Are They? Do They Work?

In addition to working with survivors and their families, she conducts workshops for government agencies, international intelligence agencies, private companies, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations, and leads online psychoeducational courses for trauma survivors and mental-health professionals. She has served as consultant and expert witness in civil and criminal legal cases.

  • MindMusclePro Mental Health the Natural way

    From The Vault

A conversation with Nicholas and why he started Mind Muscle Pro.

My love for working out and wellness started in college. During a particularly low point, a friend, a savior, convinced me to join him at the gym. It felt good! Then he convinced me to go again….and again. As physical training became a consistent part of my schedule, I started to feel something that I hadn’t felt much in my

life…happiness. From there, my voyage has evolved into a love for overall wellness: mental, physical, and spiritual.

On this path I stumbled upon a heartfelt passion to help others living with mental illness, low self-esteem, or just a bleak outlook on life. I encourage natural and healthy avenues to help others find true peace and happiness within themselves. I’m a certified personal trainer and a nutrition advisor and promise you I do NOT have all the answers. But I will help you find the support you need.

I created Mind Muscle Pro with that desire in mind. MMP is not a ‘program’ or a ‘magical fix’. Rather, it’s a platform for finding solutions. It’s place to share encouragement, personal stories of triumph, and resources.

Now, others can join the MMP family. We are not just about mental health awareness. MMP is about finding solutions for people who are struggling. We’re in this together.

  • Autism

    From the vault.

I spoke with the CEO Nicole Rogerson back in November 2021. This is an important topic and thought that it may need to be heard again :)

Autism Awareness Australia - Empowering autism families

Empowering autism familiesAutism Awareness Australia was founded in 2007 to improve the lives of all Australians on the autism spectrum and the families who love them.

Our goal is simple: to improve the lives of all Australians on the autism spectrum and the families who love them. We ensure autistic individuals, and their families, have access to free, credible, evidence-based information, resources and tools to empower them to support themselves or their loved ones on the spectrum. We also provide targeted educational programs to families, professionals and the broader community. We support inclusion for people on the autism spectrum… and we have some fun along the way too.

In 2011, the United Nations found our work so inspiring we were granted NGO membership to the United Nations Department of Public Information (UNDPI) and asked to present at the annual NGO conference in New York. A huge honour, and one that gives us the opportunity to partner with a global network of organisations to promote our common goals.

  • Keeping Your Kids Safe

    From the archives

I had this conversation with the CEO Carly back in January 2022. I hope if you haven't heard it before it raises some issues that you should be aware of :)

Child Rescue Coalition (CRC) is a nonprofit organization that rescues children from sexual abuse by building technology for law enforcement, free of charge, to track, arrest and prosecute child predators. Headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, we developed powerful technology, which has been a significant tool for law enforcement agencies around the globe. Our technology has improved the success rates of investigators and policing operations in the ongoing pursuit to identify, apprehend and convict individuals and networks associated with child sexual exploitation.

As a nonprofit, our mission is made possible through the generous support of individuals and from partnerships with private corporations. This allows us to integrate our CRC Technology into law enforcement agencies in all 50 U.S. States and 97 countries for free. Our technology has been pivotal in identifying and indexing millions of IP addresses linked to the sharing of child sexual abuse material. Our catalog of known abusers helps identify new and potential offenders while ranking the severity of predators to prevent real-time abuse.
