LIFE Church

As Christians, we have the privilege and responsibility to be kingdom builders. We can choose to either build our own selfish kingdoms or humbly serve God's kingdom. Scripture tells us not to conform to the self-centered ways of the world, but to be transformed by renewing our minds to focus on loving and serving others.

To experience real change in our lives, we must surrender our thinking to God, immersing ourselves in His Word to discover His wisdom and truth. This process involves uprooting deeply entrenched thought patterns and replacing them with God's perspective so that our minds are renewed and our lives are transformed from the inside out.

Change is possible through the supernatural power of Christ working in us. Only Jesus can change us from the inside out, putting new desires in our hearts and making us more like Him. The fruits of the Spirit listed in Ephesians 5 - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control - exemplify what Jesus embodies and what we should strive towards.

Join us as we culminate our IMAGINE journey. On this momentous Sunday, we get the privilege to invest in the next generation. When we build on yesterday, sacrifice today, and see into tomorrow, we catch God’s heart and can be fully used by Him.

In the Kingdom of God, blessing and sacrifice go hand in hand. God wants to bless you, but in order for that to happen, you must become a joyful sacrificial giver. These kinds of givers are joy filled, willing, and undeterred by circumstances.

In our next step in our Imagine Journey, we imagine what God can do if choose surrender. All of God’s blessings are on the other side of surrender, so when we take the bold, faith filled step of surrendering our lives to God, there’s no limit to what can be done.

As we progress through our IMAGINE journey, this sermon encourages us to view our lives as a mission given to us from God. If we remember that God truly is our source, and remain available for whatever God wants to do through us, there’s no end to what’s possible.
