As we conclude our sermon series, God's Top Ten, Pastor Thompson shared from the words of Jesus, "The Most Important Commandment", and how by fulfilling this commandment, you insure obedience to all others. Enjoy this life-giving message that both challenges and encourages.

During the Christmas season, it's so easy to become consumed by the desire to acquire. Perfect timing for a message from the 10th commandment, 'Do not covet." From this passage Pastor Thompson shares a very relevant message on our need for contentment in a modern world.

Observe children, even at the youngest of ages, and you will see on display humanity propensity for stretching the truth, or as the Bible calls it - LYING. In the 9th commandment we are commanded to not lie, and as Pastor Thompson shared in this installment of the God's Top Ten Series, "Speak The Truth."

The 8th Commandment gives us what seems like a very simplistic message, "Thou shalt not steal". And while we readily recognize that stealing is wrong, are there ways that this commandment applies to us today, that we haven't considered. Pastor Thompson gives us a fresh take with "DON'T STEAL".

In a world that discredits marriage, God calls us to stand for His plan for marriage, and from the 7th Commandment, God expresses His desire for all to "Protect Your Marriage." Continuing with our series on the Ten Commandments, "God's Top Ten", we arrive at the 5th Commandment, and Pastor Thompson shared a great message on the blessing and power of honor, particularly the responsibility to "Honor Your Mother & Father."

As we consider the fourth commandment, we consider God's purpose for setting aside a day of rest and renewal. Just the consideration draws us to our need for God's presence, the true REST that He's called us to live in. Always "Remember The Sabbath" as we endeavor to place God first in our lives.

Taking a look at the third commandment, Pastor Thompson discusses the responsibility of everyone to use the name of God properly, and to allow it to not only change our speech but our lifestyle and actions.
