We are not bodies, but spirits that live in bodies. God is spirit and He created us with an ability to relate to Him in the spirit. We must stop trying to have a physical relationship with God. We have spiritual eyes and ears.

People don't experience what is real, only what they perceive to be real. Unfortunately, most have believed that life, as they know it, is all there is. We must open our eyes to the reality of what is - God, the spirit, and life lived in Him.

One of the biggest hinderances to intimacy and awareness of God is allowing the many distractions of this age to keep us from focusing on Him. We must become single minded a press on to the real reason for our existence.

The Bible gives us specific instructions as to what we are to do if sickness attacks our bodies. No one is sick because God failed to heal them. We simply must act on the Word and appropriate what He has provided.

Jesus defined eternal life as knowing God. This reveals that we will never experience the God-level quality of life until we know Him by experience. God is not a book, a list, a system, or a set of principles. He is a person who wants to be close to us.

God's presence is complete joy and holy pleasure. There is nowhere better to be. We have been invited to come but we must come according to the prescribed method. It is the only sure way to success.

Your relationship with God is not your idea. Every positive step we have made toward Him was initiated by Him. He knew us before we were born and has drawn us to Himself. Now when we draw near to Him, He is invited to come close to us.
