Most importantly, I have been able to witness the result of God being present through much of all the "real life" experiences my friends have overcome in the last several months! Question: What does it take to culivate a healthy family environment?

In this teaching Pastor Joya Rogers presents the question, “how do we stand while waiting on God’s Promises?" Certainly most of us have experienced a range of thoughts and emotions as we wait for God to perform His promises in our lives. Fear and doubt are normal, human emotions and we all at one time or another have had our battle with these emotions. In this lesson we can gather from the word of God principals that will lend us the ability to master the unavoidable seasons of waiting. As we do we will bring the opportunity for panic to a place of peace as we rest in the knowledge if God.

With all that we encounter each day, the current events happening nationally and around the world, as well as the personal encounters we engage on a regular basis, it can become more than overwhelming to live and keep everything together. In this message, part one of the "Faith Community" series, Pastor Cedrick reminds us of our NEED FOR FAITH in God. As a matter fact, today’s message is entitled just that, “you gotta have faith”, this life demands it! Everyone has faith, we all believe in something or someone. From the book of Hebrews, chapter 12, Pastor Barry Rogers presents encouragement for the believer to stay in the race. To run with in faith and confidence, despite the challenges we may encounter. Understanding that we are not alone. First, God is mighty on the inside of us, and secondarily, we become encouragement for one another to remain in and complete the race set before us overcoming and victorious.

As I pastor the beautiful people that make up Life Elevation Church, I realize how the Lord has blessed us as church family! One demonstration of His active blessing is seen in the number of able ministers within our family who enjoy sharing the Word God. I personally seeing the Spirit of God grow others into His image through multiple voices and vessels. I will tell you, my sermons usually measure about 35 to 40 minutes on average, however, this lesson pushes the 50 to 55 minute envelop. I will also say "YOU NEED to hear this message and hear it again." Applying these biblical principals into your interaction with others will lend to you in recieving the most out of your encounter with others. No one enjoys conflict however, you can discover how God will use this situations to grow you into your best self. Also, you'll understand your role in the plan of God, and how He can use you in the lives of those you are graced to embrace.
