Mhel Enderes Sillador is a young leader, development worker, and children’s rights advocate. For the past decade, he has been working for the causes of disadvantaged children - the abandoned, neglected, malnourished, survivors of abuse and trafficking. He is a community leader who has served as President of JCI Bacolod Executive, Rotary Club of Bacolod Central, and the First Farmers Toastmasters Club. He was awarded as an Outstanding Student in the Field of Leadership when he graduated from the University of St. La Salle and a Two-Time National Public Speaking Champion of Toastmasters International. As a children’s rights advocate, he works under a thrust that says “No Child Should be Hungry, No Child should be on the streets, No Child should be denied education and No child should be subjected to violence”.
In this episode, Mhel talks about his advocacy, his experience in rescuing children from abuse, "horror" stories of abused children, and their journey to a better life through the help of Kalipay Negrense Foundation.
