Life Gone Real

It’s been a little over a year since I launched Life Gone Real’s first episode. I can’t believe how quickly that year went by! In this episode, I share a recap of all that’s happened in the last year and what I have learned transitioning into a new life and also share some tips that have helped me move forward into transitioning after divorce.

I hope this episode inspires and encourages all who are going through similar situations. We are all here for each other. I love you all 💕

Life Gone Real - Ep.17: Real Talk with my teenage daughter

Ava, my teenage daughter shares her pandemic story, having gone through the separation of her parents and no social life during the lockdown. We talk about parent relationships with their kids and why it's hard for teens to talk to their parents and not share their true feelings. Ava opens her heart and shares her own stories along with questions and opinions from her friends.

Hannah Snoots is the associate director of special abilities at Calvary community church, founder and president of Heartstrings Foundation, a singer/songwriter, but most importantly mother to two beautiful girls with special needs. Her passion is to help as many families as she can walk the difficult journey of raising a child with a disability. Hannah shares her own personal stories about her own daughters and the journey she has gone through.

Heartstrings Foundation is a 501C-3 nonprofit dedicated to providing tailor-made relief for frontline parents of special needs children. Her goal in life is to bring as much relief and joy to these families as she can.

Life Gone Real - Ep 15: How to lose the fear of being a mom, even when you feared your own.

Amelia Mora-Mars is a mom of 10, therapist, and coach to women raised by emotionally unavailable mothers. She is the CEO of Mom Connections - She helps women heal their hearts, prioritize themselves and reclaim their lives to become happier, healthier, and more confident moms.

You will enjoy hearing Amelia and I talk as she shares her beautiful story of stepping into motherhood after her own mother was not there for her emotionally when she was a child; the burdens and fears that she carried at a very young age and how she broke free from them into the beautiful life she has today.

Christi Hoehn is a below-knee amputee and 10-year lung cancer survivor! She strives to be an inspiration by being her authentic self. She shares her inspiring/moving story and journey with me in this episode. Talk about a “LIFE”! She shares how to live to the fullest…with whatever life throws at you.

She’s known as “The Table Grilling Lady”, having developed a new way to cook and entertain that turns dinner time into fun for family and friends. She’s building her brand “Talk of the Table Company” and teaching people how to make meals more meaningful by cooking together at the table.

She’s an artist, mom, and grandma, the only limitations that we have are between our ears. She’s getting back into prosthetics and will be walking soon after 15 years! Suzi and I continue our conversations about her love story with her husband. How her husband moved from a different country just for her. We go more in-depth about her marriage and the things they have learned and gone through and share the things that they are still working on.
