You’re still listening to Life Happens, if you’ve just joined us. Welcome and thank you for listening in, I’m your host……
At some point or another, we have all dealt with the world’s number one silent killer in life – stress. Stress could be as a result of divorce, unemployment, loss, grief, mid-life crisis, sudden change in our bodies or health; there could be a number of things.
The sad reality is that millions of people are under extreme amounts of stress and have no idea how to deal with it.
Our guest today is here to help us manage stress in life, business and sport because hey, Life Happens and we can’t run from it. He’s the Author of a book called, The Stress Code. In it he illustrates how stress impacts all facets of our lives and is having devastating effects on the global economy. Stress is both good and bad for you. Small, appropriately timed doses ignite success, help us overcome challenges and grow; but in excess, stress breaks us down. Stress on an ongoing basis is one of the biggest challenges faced by the human race. Negative effects include reduced productivity, ill health and an increased burden on healthcare systems around the world.
