That’s right, there’s no escape now. We sealed the deal by writing our marriage documents in poorly written Japanese and made it official! Wonder how we did it? …no? Here’s a quick game you can play with your buddies, your neighbour, or even by yourself! 

Step 1: Run to your nearest closet, hopefully filled with YOUR OWN clothes and apparel.

Step 2: Go through all your clothes one by one and make piles all over the floor based on where you bought them.

Step 3: If the majority of your clothes are from Uniqlo or GU, you win!

Step 4: Also, check that you have a proper natural disaster preparedness bag for when trouble hits.

Step 5: Clean up your mess.

It’s been a hot minute since we had a Japanese speaking podcast, but I guess you can tell for yourself how Hize’s Japanese language has progressed. 

今回は久しぶりの日本語オンリー回です！そしてメインのトピックはさおりの地元の岐阜に帰省した時のお話です♪地元の友達に会ったり、おばあちゃんとお墓参りに行ってハイズが数珠に困惑したり、下呂温泉に両親と一泊旅行にも行ったりと楽しい帰省になりました！

Would you look at that, it’s just Hize and Saori today! Only 2 of your favourite hosts from your 4th favorite podcast! It’s been a while since it was just us, so we wanted to give our personal opinions on Tokyo. Why, you ask? Because we went there for a weekend trip away from the countryside and wanted to tell you how fun it was! We’ll also probably confess the reality of not being able to find work other than in the big cities so living there would be a much closer possibility for us than we think… somewhere in the episode. On another note, Fuji-Q Highland is in Yamanashi prefecture, not Tokyo. We took a bus.

Turns out, our red flag episode (episode 37) was a crowd favorite! So, we had an absolutely wild idea. What if, just for one episode, we did another red flag episode…BUT IN ENGLISH?!?!? I know, a truly groundbreaking concept that has definitely never been done on this podcast before. We were all (two of us) shivering in excitement over this, but we knew we could not traverse this unknown territory alone. We had to bring in our heavy hitters, Sayako and Kilala to guide us, but we didn’t think it would be enough. This time, we brought in one of the experts, Lada! A skilled analyst in red flags with knowledge that transcends borders! Hize is here too. He’s just in the back.

We’re back for part 2 of Carley’s experience at the JET career fairs! We continue onwards with the details of what to expect, how to prepare, and how to succeed in your future trip to the JET career fair. Now I know what you’re thinking, “What if I’m not a JET ALT in my final year OR not even an ALT at all?” Not to worry, you’ll get to listen in on some of the many things maybe your ALT friends or family will have to worry about in the future! At the very least, you’ll get to hear Carley and Krystin’s lovely voices.
