In today’s episode, we’re thrilled to welcome the amazing Kurumi! Not only is she bilingual and smart, but she’s also an all-around fantastic person. Kurumi co-hosts a language exchange group in our neighborhood, and today, we’re doing it her way. That’s right, folks—this one’s half English, half Japanese! We’re especially grateful for her patience with Hize’s broken Japanese. Truly, she’s a gem—don’t you agree?

Whew! Another 2 weeks, another set of problems Hize has no clue how to fix. We realize we got a couple friends who are pretty tech savy when it comes to audio editing, so drop a comment or send us a DM telling us how disappointed you were! Some instances include cereal, food court fast food, and the good ol’ chicken and waffles. Chicken and waffles is luxury tier food. Fight me.

In today’s episode, Hize not only vents his emotions about being too scared to talk to people but also does so in the most interestingly congested monotone voice. Saori announces her current ascended status of "too cool for cool" and explains the reality of getting older, no matter where you are. Good news! In Today’s episode of, “What the heck is audio editing?” We decided to spend the dough and get some new editing software. We are in the middle of switching the old for the new so fair warning, you might hear some little odd sound here and there along with the occasional change in volume. I know how you feel, but just let me cook. Please and thank you fam.

Today we talk about our first encounters with each other’s parents! We recall how Saori interviewed for the role of girlfriend and how she got promoted to free housing for, “a little bit more than a month!”(Saori, 2022) They talk about memorable events Saori had with Hize’s parents while he was away in Japan. Hize reveals his expertise with the wonderful dialect that is 岐阜弁(Gifuben) through his attempts to understand Saori’s parents.
