Life in the miND with...Jake
Jake is a PhD Student at Cardiff University with Cardiff University Brain Research Imaging Centre (CUBRIC) and Wales Autism Research Centre (WARC), investigating sensory processing differences in autism.
In Episode 13 of our second series, Murray chats with Jake about his research at Cardiff university. Jake's research explores the sensory processing differences in autism using neuroimaging techniques known as magnetoencephalography (MEG) with devices such as the superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) and the Optically Pumped Magnetometer (OPM).
Murray and Jake chat about what Jake's current research is about and how his own neurodivergence informs his practice.
