Today on Perry and Shawna Mornings, Shawna likes things to go according to plan.  She’s admittedly a bit of a scheduling junkie.  She doesn’t like interruptions.  But God’s plan includes being loving when we’re interrupted.  How are we supposed to LOVE in the midst of life’s constant interruptions?  God knew that we would struggle with this, so on Jesus’ journey he shows us over and over again how to love when life gets interrupted. 

Then, Perry sat down next to Jonathan on a flight home.  He didn’t know him till that moment.  After finding out that Perry is a person of faith, Jonathan shared how he’d been judged for his same sex relationship by a Christian at a conference he’d just attended.  He said, I’m a Christian, I go to a gay church, the bible doesn’t condemn same sex relationships. Then he asked Perry, What do you think about same sex relationships?  Perry’s answer, It’s not God’s best, was not taken well.  And he would answer differently today—a leading with love way.   

Finally, maybe you’ve had someone try to ruin your reputation, say things about you that aren’t true.  You’ve got enemies who don’t want you to succeed.  King David, before he was king, shows us how to love when someone is trying to ruin us.  If today’s show helps you, please share!
