Life Is A Journey

We can or may conform to many different things in life. We do it mostly to fit in so that we aren't singled out or "made fun of". This world is full of so many things that we can conform to; meaning become or copy. We must become and be conformed to Christ, his ways, his will and everything that the word of God instructs us to be and become. Join in this week as we talk about "What are you Conforming to?"

Have you ever misplaced your keys or an item you were looking for? I'm sure we all have at one point and time in life, on the contrary so many times we misplace things in life, morals, values, relationships. Most of all putting God where he belongs in our lives 1st. Misplacement can happen at any time if we aren't careful. It is a process and should be of high importance to not misplace God or anything else of high priority in our lives.

I've been reminded more now than ever in my lifetime the importance of having my life together. I've also been finding myself drawing closer to God more than ever, although we are human and all fall short of the Glory of God; we still must do everything we can to live a life pleasing to him.

We all get "Caught Up" in life and the day to day errands and work etc, however we must be prepared to get "Caught Up" with Jesus when he returns. Join in this week "Caught Up!!"

When we think about life and who or what we were made for what comes to mind? Do you know and believe we were made for this? We are all made to worship and praise God, to bring and give him glory. We weren't made to live a life that pleases us. Join in this week "I was MADE for YOU."

So many times I've asked myself the question, am I living or just existing? Many times we are just here, existing. Not actually doing what God purposed us to do. Many times I'm sure you've asked the question WHY, but have you received the answers you were looking for? Why me? Why is this or that that going on in my life? Why can't I change? Why am I this way? Why did this happen to me? So many why questions and many of us may feel we can't ask God why. In all truth, we can. We aren't questioning him in his omnipotent power or who he is. When I look at my life and the things I've experienced and what I see in myself on a day to day basis; how I behave or conduct myself etc. There are things I've discovered in the last few years of my life, that I've come to find out have come to be because of those before me. I don't blame anyone for where I am in life, I must be responsible for the decisions I have and do make. However the most important thing in this matter is that when we come into the fellowship and the body of Christ we should take on the bloodline of Christ. In life so many times I've asked myself the question, why is this happening to me? In reality things aren't happening to us, they are happening for us. These trials, test and tribulations and things we go through are shaping us, molding us and its for our good.

In the midst of the hard times it doesn't feel good, just like diamonds the process it takes is that it must go through the fire and a great deal of pressure to get to the point of what we see in jewelry etc. Join in this week talking about "Its happening for you, not to you."
