This week, Josh and Evan are a couple of busy boys who have a lot of catching up to do. After a week-long hiatus from the podcast, there are a TON of things to recap for both of the guys. This week, the guys try to decide who their ideal partner for "The Amazing Race" would be. Would Josh and Evan be a dynamic duo, or would they crash and burn before even getting going? This week, Evan has officially been discharged from his deployment to Iowa and is back home in another four-letter state. The guys lead off with some interesting insight into YOU, the podcast listeners, before diving into their weekly recaps. Josh may have temporarily developed a tasteless super power, so that's pretty spicy. Evan then discusses how Fayette sent him out with a whimper instead of a bang and it leads to a discussion about making short-term relationships based on proximity, jobs, and more. This week, the guys get to talking about the state of the world and the nuisance of nuance. While they think some of the world's issues should be relatively straightforward and easily solved, the reality is that there's a lot of grey area. Evan is fed up with why people and society can't get a grip and get their stuff together, while Josh talks about how things like life and social media aren't that simple. Evan also has some recap from his last week in Fayette, Iowa and a saucy Fact of the Week, and there's probably a "sticking it to the man" anecdote in there too.

This week, the guys talk a lot about job hunting. Evan is back on the prowl for his next job as his time in Iowa winds down, and the process of job hunting is just no fun. The guys talk about how the current job market is deceptively difficult and what it's like to look for that first "real" job. Josh also has a pretty lengthy weekly recap, so there's plenty to discuss there. This week, the guys talk a lot about pets. In particular, the discussion revolves around Evan's pet snake, now former pet snake, Arbiter. Questions like, "How do you give away a snake?," "What's it like owning a snake?," and more abound. There's also talk about some of Josh's interesting pets, and Evan's tragic experiences with pet rabbits. The guys also briefly discuss getting a 'first pet' as adults, recap their weeks, and give some Fact of the Week and "sticking it to the man" tidbits.

This week, the guys dive into the topic of whether they prefer to watch movies or series. Series seem to be all the rage nowadays, but are to the point where they're better than movies? Will series ever trump movies, or will the big screen always reign supreme? Evan has a good argument for series being the way to go, but Josh isn't completely sold. There's also talk about what goes into a good series/movie, where books come into play, and whether chickens and eggs come first (in a series/movie/book sense). This week's Fact of the Week has been marinating for quite a while, and the guys might have been on the wrong end of "sticking it to the man" yet again.

This week, the guys talk about culture. They may not be the most cultured individuals themselves, but they certainly know a thing or two about organizational culture (or at least think they do). Thanks to a recent assignment and TED Talk about culture, Evan realized that he's been working somewhere without the greatest of cultures. He and Josh discuss what goes into a good organizational culture, how a positive or negative culture comes about, and what it means for those working in a specific culture. Evan also got stuck by the man this week rather than "sticking it to the man," so find out what not to do. There's also a really good Fact of the Week, and Josh makes a great joke about it! This week, the guys talk about books. At leas for a little while, that is. Josh and Evan have flipped roles as book readers since high school, and they dive into what goes into that. They also talk about the difficulty of recommending things, things that aren't this podcast, that is! Evan also has a handful of VERY important topics to recap, and some are seriously earth shattering. They guys also talk about phone use, share some Fact of the Week tidbits, and have at least one "sticking it to the man" tidbit too.

This week, things get a little weird! There's a lot of little things for the guys to recap about, and Evan has some show-and-tell items that he's particularly excited about. Josh has a BIG update about his FanDuel fiasco, while Evan has a BIG, little oddity that generates some laughs.
