A tragic story from India reminds us that abortion doesn't just end the life of an unborn child—it can also claim the life of the mother. A 35-year-old woman reportedly died after undergoing a sex-selective abortion following a prenatal test that revealed she was carrying a baby girl. The family feared that another baby girl would make their financial situation worse.  

According to reports, she suffered severe complications and later died despite receiving medical treatment. Authorities are investigating and have already made several arrests. 

Every abortion ends an innocent human life, but too often the abortion industry and its supporters ignore the risks mother's face as well. Nothing about abortion is safe, not for mother or child.

A new survey conducted by Concerned Women for America shows the American people are beginning to understand the terrible dangers of the chemical abortion pill.  

Roughly 70% of respondents said they support ending the mail order distribution of mifepristone, a number that is no doubt reflective of pro-life educational efforts to inform the public of its dangers.   

These drugs kill innocent children. They also present a tremendous danger to the mother's health, particularly in cases of ectopic pregnancy in which cases taking the pills can be fatal for the mother.   

While ending the mail order distribution of the pill is an important goal, it is not the finish line. Chemical abortion, like all forms of abortion, must be outlawed entirely.

Planned Parenthood has spent years trying to distance itself from its founder, Margaret Sanger, but history cannot simply be rewritten. In a recent interview, Planned Parenthood President Alexis McGill Johnson discussed Sanger's legacy with a Black influencer.  

Throughout the interview, she attempted to minimize Sanger's embrace of eugenics and even said that Sanger's intentions were good! She also failed to address the many credible allegations that Planned Parenthood continues to target minority communities.  

From beginning to end, the abortion industry is saturated with evil. When their business model revolves around killing innocent children, we should not be surprised to learn they have engaged in other awful behavior.  On the flip side, the pro-life movement has a proven, decades long, history of protecting and defending ALL life.

Is chemical abortion in your water? It is a serious question that deserves serious answers. 

Now, a new peer-reviewed study reports detecting biological activity consistent with mifepristone, the deadly chemical abortion drug, in environmental and municipal water samples from three U.S. cities.  

Researchers found anti-progesterone activity in both untreated and treated water. 

For years pro-lifers have raised concerns about the wider impact of chemical abortion drugs entering our waste-water facilities. These filtration systems are not designed for the implications of wide-spread chemical abortion. These pills must be banned, to save the lives of unborn babies, and to protect the health of our nation.

For years, pro-life Americans have been told that protecting unborn children requires passing more laws. But sometimes the first step is simply enforcing the laws we already have. 

 Attorney General nominee Todd Blanche recently pledged that, if confirmed, he would enforce federal laws protecting unborn children, including the Comstock Act. That matters because laws mean very little if government officials refuse to enforce them.  

The Comstock Act already restricts the mailing of articles used to produce or facilitate abortions, and its enforcement could halt the mail-order distribution of abortion drugs. 

We must do everything in our power to ensure that life is defended. The Comstock Act is a fantastic first step, and we pray that it will soon be enforced.

The world is watching America, and what we normalize here can quickly become the model for other nations. Now look at South Korea.  

Abortion was decriminalized there in 2019, and today its president is calling for a legal framework to distribute abortion drugs.  

This should concern every American who believes the unborn deserve protection. When abortion is presented as healthcare, other countries notice. When abortion pills are normalized, other countries follow. Our laws and our culture don't exist in isolation. The world is watching. And the question is: What kind of example will America set?

Massachusetts lawmakers just took a disturbing step toward making abortion legal up to the moment of birth. The state House passed Bill H.5595 by a vote of 119 to 33. The legislation would remove existing restrictions on abortions after 24 weeks, allowing them at any stage of pregnancy if a physician approves them. 

That means even a healthy, viable baby could potentially be intentionally killed just before birth.  

The abortion industry is far more radical than most Americans understand. This is not a fringe outlier position. This is the desire of more than 100 elected officials who were willing to go on record to support abortion until birth. We must stand up and speak out for the unborn.

Dr. Haywood Robinson passed away last week. He was a powerful voice for the unborn, and a good friend.  

His life was a powerful testimony to all who interacted with him. He began his medical career as an abortionist in Southern California in the 1970s. It wasn't until 1986 when Dr. Robinson had a life-changing conversion to Christianity that his heart softened and his eyes opened to the truth of what abortion is.  

From that moment forward he was a powerful warrior for the unborn, traveling the nation sharing his testimony and defending the unborn. I had the privilege of getting to know Dr. Robinson. He was a good friend and lit up every room he entered and never shied away from sharing the gospel.

A new website is tracking government persecution and efforts to restrict or ban abortion pill reversal across the country. Created by our friends at the Thomas More Society, the site follows lawsuits and government actions involving pregnancy resource centers that provide information about abortion pill reversal, a protocol used when a woman changes her mind after taking the first drug in a two-drug chemical abortion.  

The resource is designed to keep the public informed as cases move through the courts in states like California and New York.  

These states are targeting pro-life centers despite the fact that abortion pill reversal is safe and proven, having saved the lives of thousands of babies across the country.

Many people believe that in order to make a lasting change, they must run for federal office or appeal to the president.  

The truth is, we can have the biggest impact when we start small. Every one of us has a sphere of influence. We all have a role to play in guiding our neighborhoods and communities. While federal and state legislative efforts continue to push against abortion, local county officials are banning abortion.  

Take for example Scurry County, Texas which just became the 24th county in America to ban abortion! The unanimous measure declared the county a sanctuary for the unborn and will be enforced by citizen lawsuits.  

These local measures create an environment where Planned Parenthood and others are often unwilling, or unable, to do business.
