In Tennessee, a newborn’s life was spared from infanticide thanks to a Safe Haven Baby Box — a life-saving resource designed to protect infants and give parents in crisis a safe, legal option.  

The baby, thought to be around one month old or younger, was placed in the box at Atoka Fire Station No. 1, triggering an alarm that alerted firefighters. First responders immediately retrieved the infant and found the child in good health.  

This marked the first use of the Baby Box since its installation in November 2024. The Fire Chief said simply saving this one life was worth the program. Under Tennessee law, parents can surrender unharmed infants up to 45 days old without fear of prosecution by using Safe Haven options like these. Safe Haven boxes protect vulnerable lives and allow mothers to choose life for their child. 

Today’s story is unique. In Bakersfield, California, 41-year-old Suze Lopez thought she was simply having an ovarian cyst removed but a routine pregnancy test revealed she was expecting. What doctors discovered shocked them: her uterus was empty, yet a baby had been developing outside it in her abdominal cavity, a rare form of ectopic pregnancy that usually ends in tragedy. 

A medical team performed an emergency delivery while removing the massive 22-pound cyst, saving both mother and baby in a situation doctors call almost unheard of. 

Baby Ryu, born healthy and strong, is being praised as a miracle, and the Lopez family sees his life as a gift from God a reminder of the dignity and worth of every unborn child.

In Nepal, the country’s gender gap is widening as illegal sex-selective abortions continue to claim the lives of unborn girls.  Abortion was legalized over two decades ago in Nepal, though sex selective abortions remain illegal. Unfortunately, these laws are rarely enforced.  

Cultural preference for sons means many families choose to end pregnancies when the baby is female, leading to far more boys than girls being born. In the last year, nearly 17 percent fewer girls were born than boys, a dramatic imbalance that experts warn could have serious long-term social consequences.  

Abortion is often used just like this to discriminate against the most vulnerable.

A college instructor in La Crosse, Wisconsin, has been charged with double homicide for allegedly killing his pregnant mistress and their unborn child after she refused to have an abortion. Authorities say 27-year-old Alexis Pickett and her unborn baby were found dead in her home.  

The suspect allegedly became angry when Pickett chose life and refused to end the pregnancy, saying he did not want another child. Prosecutors have charged him with first-degree intentional homicide of both Pickett and their unborn child.  

While we are glad to see the second homicide charge and some level of justice for the baby, why is it homicide to kill this child in the womb but not the hundreds of thousands of babies killed via abortion each year? 

A disturbing case out of Florida exposes the dark underbelly of abortion: a man named Moses Lopez allegedly lied about his age, claiming he was 16 when he was really 23, to groom and sexually abuse a 14-year-old girl for years. 

When she became pregnant, he pressured her into an abortion, not out of concern, but to erase the evidence of his crimes and silence his victim. 

Tragically, this isn’t rare. Sexual predators frequently coerce abortions to cover their tracks, taking innocent lives, and further traumatizing young girls. Abortion doesn’t empower women; it enables abusers. 

Every unborn child and every victimized mother deserve protection 

A woman named Sierra changed her mind in the middle of a chemical abortion and saved her baby’s life. After taking the first abortion pill, which blocks the hormone needed to sustain pregnancy, Sierra walked away overwhelmed with regret and despair. In tears, she prayed for help, and in the abortion facility parking lot she noticed a sign directing her to the Abortion Pill Rescue Network.

Sierra was connected to compassionate support, received an ultrasound showing her baby’s strong heartbeat, and began Abortion Pill Reversal treatment, a progesterone-based medical option that can counteract the effects of the first pill.

New UK government data has revealed a shocking truth: at least 400 baby girls may have been aborted simply because of their gender between 2017 and 2021 — a practice known as sex-selective abortion. These deaths were uncovered through government birth-ratio statistics showing that far more boys than girls were born in some communities, an imbalance experts believe is linked to killing of unborn girls.  

Even though sex-selective abortion is supposed to be illegal in England the UK’s largest abortion provider has been caught telling women it’s not unlawful.  

Often we hear abortion advocates claim that any reason for an abortion is a valid reason, but killing an unborn baby girl because you would have preferred a boy is hardly just.

Not long ago I told you about a pro-abortion book targeting young children. Now there is another book, this time specifically targeting teenagers and promoting abortion. 

The novel titled “Truth Is”, follows a 17-year-old protagonist who chooses abortion, an outcome the author portrays positively and is intentionally designed to be “pro-abortion” literature for young people. The author says she wrote the book as a direct response to the end of Roe v. Wade and hopes it will serve as a resource to influence teens toward abortion.  

The book is now a National Book Awards finalist. Abortion takes human life. It does not offer a better life. It is horrific for teenagers to be given this kind of deadly propaganda at a time when they are most impressionable. 

A disturbing case out of Florida highlights how the dangerous logic of “assisted suicide” can lead to tragedy. A 66-year-old daughter, Martha Jo Blake, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the death of her 97-year-old mother, Patricia Blake. Deputies found the elderly woman dead in her bed, and the medical examiner ruled her death a homicide, citing injuries consistent with suffocation and strangulation, not natural causes.

The woman told police her mother “wanted to die” and had discussed assisted suicide with a physician in Maine.

As horrible as this story is, think of all the cases where there are no charges and no scandal because the killing is state sanctioned. Murder is never mercy, even if it is given a name like assisted suicide, medical aid in dying, or death with dignity.

Once again the truth is upsetting the pro‑abortion narrative: serious studies show the abortion pill known as mifepristone is not as safe as advertised. With the abortion pill now used in over 60 % of U.S. abortions, independent analysis finds that real‑world complications such as heavy bleeding, infection, and other serious events occur far more often than the industry claims.

Pro‑abortion activists are furious that these findings challenge their talking points and that the truth about the risks to women is being exposed. They once again call it “junk science” but it is real life data.

This isn’t just a medical debate, it’s a moral crisis. Abortion pill use ends the life of an unborn child, and can harm women too.
