Why should the government stop funding Planned Parenthood?  Here’s the latest numbers.  The nation’s largest chain of abortion mills has an annual income of two billion dollars.  Yes, that’s b as in billion.  It gets well over two million tax dollars every day.  In just one year Planned Parenthood’s annual income increased by four hundred million dollars.  The number of babies killed by abortion continues to climb, but what about their so-called other services?  Planned Parenthood continually talks about cancer screening and prevention, prenatal services, breast exams, and pap tests.  But during the last decade or so these other services have all dropped by more than seventy percent.  Astonishing!  So, now’s the time to end tax funding of America’s most aggressive killer of unborn babies.

After considerable anticipation, President Trump made his first group of court nominations. Five in total. One for the Sixth District US Court of Appeals, three for the Eastern District of Missouri, and one for the Western District of Missouri. All have been vetted by trusted entities. And God willing, all will follow the rule of law, not leftist agendas. Now more than ever we need solid judges. During recent months we’ve witnessed sitting judges attempt to stop the deportation of criminal illegal aliens, support biological men in women’s locker rooms and sports, and usurping the will of Americans on protecting preborn children from abortion. President Trump’s current administration will see fewer vacancies than before, so you’ll see the process unfold in slower fashion.

New research shows women who lose a child to abortion suffer grief much more often and it’s much more intense than a feeling of relief. Planned Parenthood claims more than ninety-five percent of women feel mostly relief after their abortions. But when researchers compared women who lost babies naturally with those who had abortions, the latter suffered much higher levels of shame, regret and guilt. Relief was the prominent emotion in only thirty percent of women. It’s not surprising when seventy percent of women feel pressured to abort. Those who said they were coerced into abortion continue to experienced intense negative feelings, as long as twenty years later. More devastating news is coming out regarding the chemical abortion pill.  The FDA and its friends in the abortion industry claim serious complications of the pills are far and few between.  Not true.  The most comprehensive analysis of chemical abortion pills shows more than one in ten women suffer serious medical complications.  Now the same analysts found over one in twenty are forced to undergo a second abortion attempt.  A common complication is parts of the baby or placenta are left behind causing serious and life-threatening infection.  Advocates of this toxic drug blame pro-life laws for the deaths caused by the abortion pills.  Not so.  It’s because they dropped protective safeguards for women and then blame others when women suffer.  Chemical abortion should be taken off the market.

I’ve long said Planned Parenthood doesn’t care about women but only the money generated by abortion.  In their minds, you can never have enough abortions.  Now a new undercover investigation shows the abortion giant has lowered the bar of ethics again.  A person posing as a sixteen-year-old girl phoned Planned Parenthood facilities and asked for access to hormones used to facilitate gender transition.  The responses she got will disturb you.  First the caller was assured a parent didn’t have to be present for all of the appointment.  No therapy or psychological screening was necessary.  Hormone prescriptions could be provided the same day after a short virtual appointment.  These meds can stunt growth or even sterilize children.  This is child abuse, Planned Parenthood style.

Pro-death members of the Maryland legislature introduced an assisted suicide bill for the eighth time. And for the eighth time it was defeated – thank God. The most vulnerable segments of society are the old and chronically ill. Particularly the state’s military veterans. The Department of Veterans Affairs says suicide is the second-leading cause of death of veterans under forty five. Brave women and men suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder would be a prime target. You and I wear the honored mantle of defending and protecting innocent human life from womb to tomb. This shows we must be ever vigilant in our efforts because the culture of death never gives up. They do the bidding of Satan, the father of lies. And he will do battle against God until the end of time.

An assisted suicide bill in the UK is experiencing a tumultuous battle in Parliament. At first considered a sure thing, now its future looks like that of the bill’s would be patients – terminated. Polling of Britain’s shows a decided majority fear people will choose assisted suicide because they’d be a burden. The elderly will be pressured into dying and people with disabilities will be at a higher risk. They also believe people with mental illnesses will also be vulnerable. Even supporters are now expressing alarm. Six Members of Parliament who previously supported the bill are now urging their colleagues to oppose it saying it’s “irredeemably flawed.” MP’s see the numbers of people dying from assisted suicide in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Canada spiraling out of control. Pulitzer Prizes showcase the best in journalism and are considered very prestigious. Days ago, Pulitzer announced its winners. The highest honor among them is The Public Service award. This year it went to ProPublica. Journalists wrote a series of articles on tragic impact of legislation protecting America’s unborn babies. One article claimed pro-life laws are causing deaths of women, citing rising cases of sepsis. Chemical abortion wasn’t mentioned but sepsis is a primary complication when parts of the baby or placenta were left behind. Advocates of the illegal use of these deadly pills openly tell women to lie at the hospital and say they’re having a miscarriage when in many cases abortion is the culprit. Has Pulitzer tainted its highest award advocating abortion through deception?

One of the largest problems we face in our efforts to protect America’s unborn babies and their parents are activist judges. Judges who feel they can dictate legislation from the bench. Here’s a case in point. Retired District Judge Thomas Campbell enjoined two pro-life laws in Wyoming. One requires abortion facilities be licensed as ambulatory surgical centers. The other requires pregnant women receive an ultrasound and follow a forty-eight-hour waiting period before they can have an abortion. But Campbell operates from the mistaken assumption that he, not the legislature has the final word on laws governing abortion. Pro-abortion activist judges must no longer be tolerated. They must be drummed out of the judicial branch for trespassing into the legislative branch by edict.
