  • Evil Place Closes
This is a tremendous victory in the battle to end abortion. The notorious late-term abortion facility in Boulder, Colorado shut down. Abortionist, Warren Hern killed babies at any time in the womb. He opened the deadly practice on the second anniversary of Roe v Wade fifty years ago. It’s not said how many babies died in this evil place. On the abortion center website it reads, “Closed. No longer Scheduling Patients.” Hern had said abortionist Benedict Mills would take his place, but apparently that didn’t work out. It takes a heart of stone to kill unborn babies, especially late in pregnancy. Just weeks ago, we were reminded Jesus granted salvation to the thief on the cross. As long as Hern has breath, there’s room for the Holy Spirit. Let’s pray it’s so.

  • A Herculean Effort
A herculean effort is underway to end the tax funding of Planned Parenthood. I believe it’s the closest we’ve ever come. This kingpin of the abortion industry has the largest chain of abortion mills in the nation. They claim to offer balanced counseling but ninety-seven percent of pregnant women who go into Planned Parenthood come out without their babies. Left behind to be sold off in pieces or disposed of like trash. You can see why we need you and everyone else to reach out to your members of Congress. Please visit lifeissues.org. You’ll find the link you need on the homepage. The babies and their moms need you now more than ever. And this is our chance to save millions of babies. Go to lifeissues.org.

  • Gen Z Showing Promise
Recent polling and campus activity shows generation Z is the most conservative age group in several decades. These youth are between the ages of eighteen and twenty-nine. Newsweek reported more than half of them approve of the work President Donald Trump is doing, and that includes pro-life actions. This coincides with the significant growth of pro-life student groups on many university campuses. This includes Georgetown, Princeton, Ohio University, Yale, Notre Dame, and others. These young people are being equipped with persuasive arguments to make a bold stand for life with their fellow students and others. I’ve enjoyed visiting campuses, speaking about abortion’s impact on men. They are eager to learn more about the most important civil rights crisis in their lifetime.

  • Stop This Madness
Several members of both the US Senate and House of Representatives sent a letter to President Trump. In part it read as the President works to “eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in US government agencies,” he needs to stop the funding of embryonic stem cell research. This experimentation that kills human embryos has yielded zero medical advancements. Yet millions of patients worldwide have been treated or cured by adult stem cells that don’t require the killing of innocent human life to further medical science. During recent fiscal years embryonic stem cells received one billion tax dollars. And they’re slated to receive another one-third of a billion dollars this year. It’s time to stop this madness in the name of political ideology. And we must protect human life.

  • Unanimous Footsteps
Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the entire State Legislature finally agreed on something.  The new pro-life law allows the state specific authority to punish predators who give dangerous chemical abortion pills to pregnant women without their knowledge or consent.  Mason Herring, then husband of Catherine Herring placed chemical abortion pills in her drinks seven times to kill their unborn baby before the couple divorced.  His daughter survived with physical complications.  He was caught but only sentenced to one hundred eighty days in prison.  The new Arkansas law makes it a felony to attempt to kill a preborn child this way.  And I believe this crime is happening with some regularity throughout the nation.  May every state follow in their unanimous footsteps.

  • I Had No Idea
A man posted on Reddit asking for advice. His girlfriend became pregnant and they talked briefly about keeping the baby, as if the alternative was adoption, not killing the child. They chose the chemical abortion pill at seventeen weeks, far beyond the FDA recommendation. They were at separate universities so she had to go through the process alone. And low and behold they were shocked when a real dead baby came out. He said, “I had no idea this would happen.” She’s dealing with pain, bleeding and likely depression. He’s asking what more he could do. Get her to a pro-life pregnancy center where they can address her emotional pain and possible medical intervention. Five states require teaching fetal development in high school. This information saves lives.

  • The Horror of Chemical Abortion
We knew this was coming.  A pregnant teen went to an abortion center but was told she was too far along – likely twenty-four weeks or more.  So, she and her mother bought illegal abortion pills which resulted in a dead baby.  In a text to her friend the young mother described the infant as “a full baby.”  The teen’s mother also expressed surprise, noting “fingernails and lips and a nose.”  Perhaps their shock and horror are what kept the baby in a container under her bed for weeks before burying him or her in their back yard.  Authorities retrieved the body of the baby.  Friend, this isn’t an isolated event.  Unregulated and dangerous chemical abortion pills are routinely mailed upon request, perhaps without medical supervision or to a sexual predator covering his tracks.

  • Put Her in Her Place
Kansas has a radical pro-abortion governor but the State Legislature put her in her place.  They overrode three pro-life bills the governor vetoed.  One, Kansas now considers child support from the moment of conception and extends tax exemptions to babies in the womb.  Two, schools are now required to provide scientifically accurate video footage of preborn babies.  Three, the government can no longer veto prospective adoptive and foster care parents because they disagree on marriage and transitioning children.  And the Legislature overrode all of the governor’s thirty-eight line-item vetoes in the state budget.  This includes three million for pro-life pregnancy centers and maternity homes.  In the future, Kansas voters will determine who the radicals are underneath the state capitol dome.

  • A Battle Over Court Documents
Last month marked twenty years since the death of Terri Schiavo, killed by the court actions of her estranged husband, Michael Schiavo.  Michael had control of nearly a million dollars of a medical malpractice settlement.  After he began a relationship with another woman.  Terri’s death would mean he could remarry and inherit the remainder of the settlement.  After twenty years Terri’s family requested that court records be unsealed, but Michael immediately opposed the request.  A Sixth Circuit Court ruled in Michael’s favor purely on procedural grounds.  Terry’s family will appeal.  After all this time what is Michael trying to hide?  The Florida Constitution clearly states the public has a right to inspect most court documents.  Please pray justice prevails and I’ll keep you posted.

  • Sold its Soul
A Catholic hospital in Iowa claimed a thirty-five week old preborn child is not a “person.”  The baby’s parents are suing Catholic Health Initiatives for failing to act before their baby was delivered stillborn.  If the nonperson status were to hold, the medical conglomerate would’ve avoided a higher financial liability for their inaction.  This happened even though the hospital, in its ethics guidelines claims to respect “the sacredness of every human life from the moment of conception until death.”  Things really hit the fan and the hospital dropped the legal challenge.  The CEO actually said, “we are heartbroken our belief that human personhood begins at conception would ever be called into question.”  If hospitals had souls, this one would’ve just sold it for financial gain.
