From being raised in post-Soviet Russia to be a housewife, to becoming a senior manager at a Big Four Firm within six years, Alina is keen that her journey sets up other women up for success, through motivating them to deliver exceptional performance.

Thomas Lee has been leading the Oracle Linux & Virtualization business in the APJ region since 2017. He is based in Singapore, and reports to HQ in the US.
Together with his team, his goal is to help customers in their journey to Digital transformation & Automation, Hybrid IT, DevOps, Security and multi-cloud strategies, with their Oracle Open cloud infrastructure portfolio.
Thomas is a seasoned and international professional, with 25 years of experience across the IT Industry (Software, Hardware, and Services), working for both start-up companies and large IT Corporations, in Europe and in Asia.
For the past 10 years, he held multiple Executive roles both at HP and ORACLE, in the APAC region. Prior to that, he worked for 15 years in the EMEA region.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, from a French Business School. He also graduated from an Executive Management program at INSEAD school.

David Cummings
David is a leader in the IT sector and has developed a wealth of experience during his nearly 35 years career.
In 2019 he took a decision to change career direction by joining Sage, the UK Accounting Software firm to help support their journey to becoming a great SaaS company, where his responsibilities include global Portfolio, Programme, Project Management, Governance & Risk Management, & focuses on tracking Performance and Execution of the Product business.
David is highly regarded for his leadership skills & experience driving through complex change programmes. He is an experienced general manager and expert practitioner in the strategic planning, design, build and delivery of IT infrastructure and applications in large, complex business transformation programmes.
Before joining Sage, David spent over 32 years working for DXC/ HPE / EDS in the IT outsourcing sector as an Account General Manager, latterly as a key leader for a UK Government Defence Contract, leading the completion of a $1.5bn Transformation Programme implementing a Global Cloud & Workplace IT services.
During his time in the outsourcing business David worked on many change programmes and helped clients embrace change, as the technology transformation exploded with Cloud, Big Data and Security enabling a different way to conduct business.
It is a fact that the IT sector is almost unrecognizable compared to when David first started his career in 1987.
In today’s episode, David will be sharing –

Sami Istephan
Sami is an accomplished leader specialising in developing alliance partnerships and channels, managing strategic sales and directing business development programmes and strategies.
Sami has worked in the communications, IT and electronics industry for over 20 years in a variety of leadership roles. He specialises in developing technology solutions, and the framework to sell them through, and with partner organisations and has worked closely with some of the world’s leading technology brands.
He is currently VP for Global Alliances at BAE Systems – Applied Intelligence.
His previous roles include: Global Director of Partnerships at a Scale-up called Scandit. He has also held senior partnerships roles with Vodafone and BT Global Services.
Sami joined Vodafone in 2014 to set up the Alliance partner function which included developing strategies to maximise alliance led profitable business. He was also responsible for Vodafone’s relationship with key System Integrator [SI] partners in the UK.
Prior to joining Vodafone Sami worked at BT for 16 years in a variety of sales, business development and marketing roles. He led the BT relationship in the UK with HP, Cisco, Nortel/Avaya, and Microsoft, amongst other market leading technology brands.
Sami is an ex-board member of the Atlantic Gateway (a private sector led regeneration think tank), on the External Advisory Board for Salford University and a Graduate of the Common Purpose Leadership Programme.

Bill Bone
Bill is CTO, Automotive for Aras Corp.
In this role, he maintains the automotive capabilities roadmap, assists customers, help them solve complex product management problems.
Prior to this position, Bill was global Director of IT Infrastructure Strategy and Engineering for General Motors Corp.
Previously, Bill was recognised as an HP Fellow as well as Chief Technologist for HP’s Manufacturing, Energy, and Life Sciences industries.
Bill’s experience encompasses work with the NASD (now FINRA), the Nasdaq Stock market, and NASA.
Bill holds both BS and MS degrees in Physics. In addition, he has participated in summer conferences at Stanford University in both Computer Science and Electrical Engineering for over 20 years.
