The Choice On November 3 Could Not Be Clearer

Bryan Fischer here with the Life and Liberty Minute. We will elect a president on November three. The difference between the two candidates and the two political parties is stark and unmistakably clear. The Bible says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” Republicans believe this, Democrats do not. Democrats booed God out of the building and out of their party in 2012. This year at their national convention they kicked God out of the Pledge Allegiance. Twice. This is a political party that worships the State in the same way that most of us worship God: as the source of ultimate authority, provision, and blessing. That is simply godless Marxism. The Bible also said it is the fool who says in his heart there is no God. The choice is clear: do we want to be governed by fools or by those who share the faith of our Founders in the God of the Bible?

Gov. Cuomo’s Leadership On COVID: The Worst Numbers In The World

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Governor Andrew Cuomo, who thinks more highly of Andrew Cuomo than anybody in America, is publishing a new book on his leadership of New York through the COVID crisis. The title is “Leadership Lessons From The COVID-19 Pandemic.” If this is a book about what he learned, it will be the shortest book in the history of books. Cuomo ordered nursing homes to take in COVID infected patients. The result was at least 11,000 dead senior citizens. In fact, the death rate in New York is the worst in the entire world, almost double the rate of the runner-up. Cuomo has done almost everything wrong since the beginning, including lockdowns, quarantining the healthy, and mandating useless masks. If somebody’s gonna write a book, he ought to have some idea what he’s talking about. Governor Cuomo does not.

At the opening night of the Democrat National Virtual Convention, Michelle Obama said we Democrats must always go high when Republicans go low, because it’s the only thing that works, and if we go low we only end up degrading ourselves. Here’s what else she said:

“we get division, chaos, and a total lack of “empathy” from the White House... kids are wondering if their parents are lying to them when they tell them what is right and wrong because they are now watching people fighting over masks, calling police on innocent people of color… they are watching in horror as children are thrown in cages, white supremacists are carrying torches, and pepper spray and rubber bullets are used on peaceful protesters for a photo-op”

New York Versus Sweden Proves Lockdowns Do Not Work

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. New York dealt with the Chinese virus by shutting everything down - schools, businesses, and churches. Sweden dealt with the virus by shutting nothing down. And yet both places have reached near zero deaths at the same time with almost identical antibody levels. All places at near zero deaths have the same antibody levels today, whether they locked down or not, whether they wore masks or not, whether schools were open or closed. Sweden reached the same results as those places that locked everything down and forced everybody to wear masks. The point here is that no matter how careful a jurisdiction is, this bug has a life of its own, and no amount of social strangling is going to help. If lockdowns don’t work, then we have crippled the greatest economy in human history for absolutely no reason.
