Mail-In Voting Fraud Is A Real Thing

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Part of the genius of the American political system is the secret ballot. When you go into a voting booth, nobody else is in there. Your vote is a matter of conscience between you and God. When you return your ballot, and watch it being processed, you know that your vote will count. But this week, batches of discarded mail-in ballots were discovered in ditches and dumpsters this week, some from overseas servicemen who had marked their ballots for Donald Trump. Joe Biden voters are committed to nationwide voter fraud to keep the president from being re-elected. It’s time to insist on a return to in-person voting for all who are able on one nationwide election day, where the identity and registration of every voter can be verified. If we don’t, our country will be stolen right out from under us.

Time To Recognize The Limits Of The Supreme Court’s Authority

Bryan Fischer with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Regressives have used the Supreme Court to get what they want through judicial fiat rather than through the legislative process. Whether it’s homosexuality, sodomy-based marriage, or baby murder, every major advance of their political agenda has come from an activist Court. But the Constitution nowhere gives the Court that kind of authority. Their authority is limited, according to the Constitution, to deciding “cases and controversies” that come before them. Their rulings are binding only on the parties that are before them in court, but are not binding on anyone else. So the Obergefell plaintiffs get to have their gay marriages, but nobody else is entitled to one. Let’s limit the Court to the authority the Founders gave it, not the authority the justices have seized for themselves.

On Nominations: Trump Doesn’t Stop Being President In Election Year

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Democrats have been yammering on about how inappropriate it is for President Trump to nominate a replacement Supreme Court justice in an election year. But the Constitution says voters choose the president, and the president chooses Supreme Court justices. As RBG herself said, the president does not cease being president in his fourth year. He has the right and responsibility to nominate Ginbsburg’s replacement. The process must be completed by November 3. Democrats and their six-hundred lawyers will challenge every result they don’t like, and so the selection will wind up at the Supreme Court. The Court is split four to four, and you can’t settle this issue with a tie vote. So Mr. President, full steam ahead to nominate RBG’s replacement. The Founders wouldn’t have it any other way.

Democrats Cannot Stop Trump’s Nominee Unless Republicans Wilt

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Democrats are in a state of panic over President Trump’s right to nominate the next Supreme Court justice. One possible hitch is that the Benedict Arnold brigade among Senate Republicans seems to grow by the day. Lisa Murkowski is a self-declared No vote, and Susan Collins likely will be too. Who knows with Mitt Romney? He could vote against Trump just out of spite and to reclaim what’s left of his fifteen minutes of fame. But if the rest of the Republicans hang together, there will be fifty votes for Trump’s nominee, and Vice President Pence will break the tie. Democrats even now are furiously strategizing how to torpedo Trump, and Nancy Pelosi is even considering impeaching Trump again. The one thing we know is that things are going to get more interesting before they get less interesting.

The Best Antidote To Suicide: A Stable Family Of Origin

A two-thousand and twelve study from Sweden indicates that there is a strong correlation between parental separation or divorce and suicidal ideation, even when the breakup of the family happens to children from ages zero to four. Here’s what the authors say: “Parental separation or divorced in childhood is significantly associated with ever having had suicidal thoughts of having attempted suicide.” Maybe children are not as resilient as we want to think. It Is Scientifically Impossible For A Mask To Protect You

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. During this coronavirus pandemic we have been lectured repeatedly to follow the science. Good advice - as long as it’s science and not science fiction. We’re constantly being hectored to wear masks. But science tells us it’s impossible for masks to protect us from coronavirus. That’s because the pores in the masks are far too large to stop the virions that cause the infection. These virions are roughly one hundred nanometers in size, and it only takes one to cause an infection. But the size of surgical mask filtrations are about three thousand nanometers, thirty times too large to stop an infection. As somebody said, stopping a virion with a mask is like trying to stop a mosquito with a chain link fence. So wear one if you must - just be realistic about the amount of protection you’re getting.

Democrats Ramping Up To Steal The Election In Court

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. We’ve been following Democrat efforts to turn the United States entirely into a vote-by-mail system. This is because vote-by-mail opens up a myriad of opportunities to cheat. Now we find that if that doesn’t work, they are building a special litigation unit, comprised of more than six hundred lawyers, to contest any election result they don’t like in November. If they lose the election, they will tie America up in court for months. We may not know who our president is until next year. Renegade Chief Justice John Roberts very likely will wind up choosing our next president for us. The Democrats have made it clear by their enthusiastic support for the Marxist Black Lives Matter movement that they’re through playing nice. If they can’t win by cheating at the mailbox, they intend to win by cheating in court.

It’s Not Global Warming, Gov. Newsom - It’s You

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. California is going up in flames, with forests, homes, and entire towns burning to the ground. California governor Gavin Newsom is quick to blame global warming as the culprit. But global warming has nothing to do with it. The only way to prevent catastrophic wildfires is to reduce the fuel load in the forests by logging, thinning, reducing the build up of debris on the forest floor, doing controlled burns, and creating firebreaks. California has not allowed any of this for decades. Consequently, there are 150 million dead trees, all too close to each other, in California forests, perfect kindling for raging and uncontrollable forest fires. When dry lightning strikes, these trees go up like Roman candles. The bottom line, Governor Newsom, is that global warming is not to blame. You are.

Communist China, California: What’s The Difference?

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Communist China refuses to acknowledge even the existence of God. California, on the other hand, acknowledges God in the very first words of its constitution, and specifically guarantees the free exercise of religion on the first page. Last weekend, Communist China completely shut down the largest house church in China. At the very same time, the governor of California, Gavin Newsom, is determined to completely shut down John MacArthur’s megachurch in defiance of the United States Constitution. Bottom line: a tyrant in China shuts down a large evangelical church. A tyrant in California is trying to do the same thing. I see no material difference. What good is our constitution if a politician treats it like waste paper? Tyranny is tyranny whether you’re in California or in China.
