Sometimes God’s Answer To Prayer Is No

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The purpose of Moses’ life was to bring the people of God into the Land of Promise. Yet in one critical moment he failed to honor God as holy in the eyes of the people and forfeited the right to lead them into the land. Even at the end Moses begged God to reverse his decision. “I pleaded with the Lord at that time. Please let me go over and see the good land. And the Lord said to me, Enough from you; do not speak to me of this matter again.” God always answers prayer, but sometimes God’s answer is a firm no. God may say the future I have for you is different than the one you pictured for yourself, and you must learn to accept that. To his credit, this is what Moses did - he didn’t sulk, he didn’t brood, and he didn’t quit. He set aside the future he had in his mind and embraced the future God had in his mind. May we do likewise.

There are occult practitioners - the Bible calls them witches - who can summon demons and send them against the objects of their hate. Ignore The Polls Because Pollsters Cheat

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty MInute. For months we’ve been getting new polls which show Joe Biden trouncing Donald Trump. Yet over the last week or so, the polls have been mysteriously tightening. Why is that? It’s simple. Pollsters cheat. Most pollsters want Biden to win, so when they conduct a poll they invariably - I mean, invariably - oversample Democrats, which of course skews the polls toward the candidate most Democrats want. This is purposeful, to convince the public that Trump is going to lose and dispirit his supporters. Polls are tightening now because the reputation of pollsters is on the line. For the first time in the entire campaign they are making some effort to be objective, because now they all want to be more accurate than the next guy. People are not changing their minds, pollsters are changing their tactics.

Why Some Anti-Trumpers Are Changing Their Minds

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty MInute. There are solid conservatives who have opposed Donald Trump largely because of his personality, but are now changing their tune. Ben Shapiro is a young conservative with one of the most popular podcasts in the country. He said this week he’s going to vote for Donald Trump, because Trump has actually governed far more conservatively than he thought he would. Shapiro figures whatever damage has been done by Trump’s personality has already been done, and when he looks at what Trump has done to protect babies in the womb, appoint conservative judges to the bench, revive our economy, and keep us out of pointless foreign wars, he finds a lot to like. When other voters look at the options, and consider the future of our country, I have a feeling a lot of them will make the same decision Shapiro has made.

It’s Time To Stand In The Gap For Our Families And Our Country

God said in Ezekiel’s day, I sought for a man - just one man - among them who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none. And because God could not find such a man, a nation was destroyed. Our nation is on the brink, and God is looking for men today who will stand in the gap where evil is pouring into our homes, our churches, our schools, our communities, and our nation, will resist that evil, repair the breach, and build up the wall to protect our families and our nation from destruction. Men, this is our calling in particular - God is looking for men in our day who will plant their feet and say, if Satan is going to get to my family, my church, my children’s school, my nation, he’s going to have to go through me. Vote For Your Children And Your Grandchildren

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. This truly is a generational election - the results of this election will be felt for generations to come. Whether we move in the direction of protecting every baby in every womb or move toward the wholesale slaughter of the unborn, whether we continue to move toward the rule of law and judges who respect the constitution, or move toward increasing chaos and lawlessness, whether we move toward parental choice in education or toward government control, whether we move toward sexual normalcy or slide further into sexual deviancy, will be determined by the votes we cast on November three. It’s time for us to ask this question: what kind of nation do I want my children and grandchildren to inherit, and which of these two candidates is most likely to get that done? Think carefully and choose wisely.

Are Democrats Planning To Replace Biden with Kamala Harris?

Bryan Fischer here with the Life and Liberty Minute. The Democrats propose to establish a commission on the 25th Amendment, which would decide whether a sitting president should be removed because he is unable to discharge the duties of his office. The immediate target is Donald Trump. But some observers think the Democrats’ ultimate target is Joe Biden, should he win the election, planning to use this commission to remove Biden and replace him with Kamala Harris, whose worldview goes beyond socialism to outright communism. Biden is frail and declining in mental health, a fact which even the former White House physician, Ronny Jackson confirms. However, I’m not sure the Democrats are this clever. Plus, we already have such a commission - the cabinet. We have enough chaos in Washington as it is. Let’s not make things worse than they already are.

Amy Coney Barrett Can Change The Court For Decades

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Amy Coney Barrett is being grilled by her Democrat adversaries about a seat on the Supreme Court. If confirmed, Ms Barrett will bring with her the originalist mindset of Antonin Scalia. An originalist believes that the Constitution means no more and no less than what the Founders intended it to mean. Justices must apply the law as written, not as they wish it were. Policy, Ms. Barrett believes, is to be established by Congress and not by the Courts. Putting policy decisions in the hands of the Court is how we got Roe v. Wade. Congress should make these decisions rather than the Court because the Constitution says so, and because Congress is accountable to the people, and the Court is not. With Barrett on the bench we’ll get back to the Founders’ Constitution rather than the one mangled by the courts.
