Robert Mueller will never testify before Congress

Bryan Fischer here with Today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The Democrats have been salivating about having Bob Mueller testify before Congress. It will never happen because Mueller has everything to lose and nothing to gain. What the Democrats seem to forget is that Republicans get to ask questions too. DOJ guidelines only offer two options for special prosecutors: either indict or shut up. So Republicans will want to ask why, if DOJ regulations forbid inclusion of any derogatory information about a subject who is not indicted, why was President Trump smeared with lies and innuendo for the entirely of volume 2? They’ll want to know when Mueller knew Trump was not guilty of collusion. They’ll want to know why the unverified Steele dossier was used to get FISA warrants, and whether illegal surveillance is spying. Mueller would rather be eaten by ants than answer any of those questions.

The American crisis in masculinity

As a result, we are not making men like we used to. In fact, we’re not making them at all. Testosterone levels in American males have dropped 17% since 1987, and the average millennial male has the grip strength of a 30-year-old woman. The major explanation is the absence of fathers in the life of boys. A tragic 39% of school-aged boys live in a home without their biological fathers. We need to get dads more involved in mentoring their sons. America is running out of people

Bryan Fischer here with Today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The fertility rate that’s required to keep a population stable is 2.1. That is, if women on average have 2.1 children, the population will neither grow nor shrink. However, America’s birth rate is now at historic lows, just 1.7 children per woman. Last year, American women gave birth to the lowest number of babies in 32 years. This means that America will soon begin running out of Americans. What’s the solution? As always, it’s found in Scripture. God says in Genesis 1:28 that we are to “be fruitful and multiply.” He’s never changed his mind about that. Now if American families are going to multiply and not must replace themselves, they need to have an average of three children. Large families are not a burden - they are the key to America’s future.

Loretta Lynch may finally get justice

We all remember the famous tarmac meeting between Bill Clinton and then-attorney general Loretta Lynch as they shared golf stories and reminisced about grandchildren. But Lynch’s problems go far deeper than that. As AG, Ms. Lynch had to sign off on all the warrants that were used to spy on President Trump. She had to personally sign that the contents of the now debunked Steele dossier were verified and that all of it was true, when in reality, none of it was true. She authorized the team effort to put spies inside the Trump campaign. Only one FISA request out of 10,700 from 2009-2015 was denied - the one Lynch signed to request a wiretap on Mr. Trump. So Loretta Lynch is in danger of going to prison behind this Russia scam, along with James Comey, Rod Rosenstein, and Jim Clapper.

The issue is homosexual privilege, not white privilege

His resume is similar to that of Cory Booker. But Buttegieg is soaring in the polls while Booker is mired near the bottom. Why? The reason is simple: Buttegieg is an out, loud, and proud homosexual and Booker isn’t. We talk about the evils of white privilege in our day, but I submit the real problem is homosexual privilege. If you’re gay, you’re immune from criticism and belong to the most favored class in American life. Although they play the victim card better than anyone, the reality is that the gay activists are the real bullies on the block. Once homosexuality was the sin that dare not say its name. Now you can sin your way right into the White House.

No, we don’t have too many people

It’s common to hear misguided environmentalists whine and moan about how there are just too many people and the earth is running out of resources to sustain them all. Don’t let them lie to you. They are dead, flat wrong. The more humans there are, the more human capital there is to innovate, create, and produce. Cato Institute research reveals that commodity prices dropped 65% between 1980 and 2017. Humans are in truth experiencing a superabundance of life’s necessities as the population grows. The planet’s resources have became 380% more abundant - not less - over the last 40 years. And Cato predicts prices will drop another 37% over the next several decades. Do we have too many people? Nope. In fact, we don’t have enough. It’s time to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.

The Second Amendment: what about the “right of the people” do you not understand?

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Some ill-informed Americans believe the Second Amendment exists only to protect the right of colonial militias to be armed. But here’s the actual wording: “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” It’s not the right of the militias to keep and bear arms, but the right of the people. Who are the people? Well, that’s you and me - ordinary Americans, who are looking to protect ourselves and our families. Founding-era Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story, in his Commentaries on the Constitution, put it this way: “the right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been considered as the palladium of the liberties of a republic.” I don’t find “the right of the people” hard to understand at all. Do you?

The infinite monkey theorem

Bryan Fischer here with Today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Evolutionists believe that time plus chance explains everything. Give monkeys banging away on typewriters enough time, and they’ll produce the works of Shakespeare. Well, students from Plymouth University in England put the idea to the test. They put a computer in the monkey enclosure and waited. Pretty soon one monkey started bashing the computer with a rock, after which others defecated and urinated all over the keyboard. What they did not produce was the complete works of Shakespeare. After one month, they produced five pages of text, consisting almost entirely the letter “S”, and did not produce even one single, solitary word, let alone a complete sentence or even a phrase. For a rational explanation of the origin of everything, I think I’ll stick with, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
