Sri Lanka reveals that Islam is a religion of war, violence, and death

Yesterday, while Christians around the world were celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Muslims all across Sri Lanka were blowing them up. Eight separate explosions claimed the lives of at least 207 Christians and the wounding of 450 more. The explosions were set off by suicide bombers, one of whom got in line at a local hotel buffet and blew himself to pieces. The fact that 8 people could be convinced to murder 207 innocent people in cold blood is surely a testament to the truth that there is something evil and demonic about Islam itself. The spawn of Satan, Islam is not a religion of peace but rather of war, violence, and death. And Sri Lanka has a pile of bodies to prove the point. To prevent attacks like this in America, we must suspend Islamic immigration altogether. Do we have the courage to do it?

On the Day of Atonement the High Priest went into the Most Holy Place and presented the blood of an unblemished sacrifice to God for the forgiveness of sins. How would the people know God had accepted the sacrifice and they were forgiven? They they would only know when the high priest emerged alive from the Holy of Holies. Legend has it they tied a rope around his waist so they could drag him out in case God rejected him. Christ carried his own shed blood into the presence of the Father to seek forgiveness for our sins. How do we know God accepted Christ’s sacrifice on our behalf? By his resurrection from the dead. When he emerged from the tomb on easter morning, it was proof that God had accepted his sacrifice on our behalf and our sins have been forgiven for time and eternity. Praise God!

It’s time to cultivate traditional masculinity in our sons

16th Amendment does not authorize a tax on wages

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. You ever wonder how we were talked into voting for the 16th Amendment, which created the income tax? Most Americans are unaware that the Constitution does not give the government any authority whatsoever to collect taxes on wages and salaries. When the 16th Amendment was presented to the American people, we were told that the term “income” referred only to dividend income and corporate profits - in other words, to all income except wages and salaries. Since the kind of income the 16th Amendment goes after is income that only rich people got, they fooled us into voting for it because it would soak the rich. That’s what income meant when they wanted us to vote for it. Then they changed the meaning of “income” to include wages and salaries. So how’d that whole soak the rich thing work out?

EVERY child has a mother and a father, even in same-sex households (Re-Air)

We believe that God knew what he was doing when he designed marriage to be exclusively between one man and one woman, and for each child to be raised by both a mother and a father. It’s a form of child abuse to deliberately deprive a child of either a father or a mother and the unique, irreplaceable contributions each has to make to the life of a growing child. Every child - every child - has a biological mother and a biological father. A recent USA Today story about two lesbians who conceived a child through In Vitro Fertilization mentions in passing that the lesbians “knew their own biological child would require a sperm donor.” The sperm donor is the child’s father, who will now be missing from the child's life forever.

CO2 is not a pollutant - it’s plant food

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The entire global warming movement is based on an series of lies, with the worst of the lies being that carbon dioxide is a pollutant. It’s not. CO2 is not a pollutant - its plant food. Without CO2 plants would wither and die and we would starve to death. In fact, the more CO2 there is in the atmosphere for plants to absorb, the better off we all are. Because there is more CO2 in the atmosphere, an area the size of the United States has greened up around the world. Plants absorb CO2, and what do they give off in return? Oxygen. If you enjoy breathing, the more CO2 the better - the more CO2 there is for plants and trees to absorb, the more oxygen they release into the atmosphere. Don’t’ let them lie to you. CO2 is our friend, not our enemy.

President Pete Buttigieg: a severe danger to religious liberty

The openly gay mayor of South Bend, Indiana, 37-year-old Pete Buttigieg, is a rising star in the Democrat Party and a likely candidate for president. Already in some polls he has rocketed to third place. But don’t let his boyish good looks and charm deceive you. He is a fervent supporter of the Equality Act, or better, the “Homosexual Supremacy Act,” which will eviscerate the First Amendment. The Equality Act essential amends the Constitution by removing all religious exemptions to the granting of special rights and privileges to the sexually non-normative, including homosexuals and transgenders. Churches will be forced to hire homosexual choir directors and youth leaders, and open their bathrooms to anyone and everyone. Mayor Buttigieg wants to be our next president. If he succeeds, religious liberty will be a distant memory in America.

U.S. military: everywhere but where it’s needed

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The United States military has one job. That job is to keep America safe from external threats. This is according to the authority God has granted to government in Romans 13, to use lethal force in the interests of justice and security. Right now, we have 175,000 troops deployed overseas in 158 countries of the world. That’s 158 out of the 195 that exist. Our military is currently helping Morocco improve its health care, helping landlocked Ethiopia develop a navy, flying relief supplies into Mozambique, putting out forest fires in Honduras, and rebuilding water tanks in Malaysia. Our military is everywhere - except on our southern border where it is needed the most. We have an invasion coming over our border which threatens our security, our tranquility, and our sovereignty. It’s time to pull our troops out of Mozambique and put them on our border with Mexico.
