Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Pete Buettegieg is a rising star in the Democrat Party and may soon declare his candidacy for president. He is young, charismatic, and an out, loud, and proud homosexual. Buttegieg criticized the president for violating the “sexual ethics” of Christianity, apparently blind to the reality he has failed the standard as badly as the president. His failure is worse, since homosexuality deviates further from God’s design than adultery. The president appears to have cleaned up his act on sexual matters, while Buttigieg continues to flaunt his sexual abnormality. During the GOP primary in 2016 many evangelicals, myself included, would not support Trump early on because his sexual misconduct. Let’s see if Democrats, in their primary, will have the same commitment to sexual ethics as Buttigieg wants us to have for Trump. Don’t hold your breath.

Genetic science confirms Bible again

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The Bible says that every human being on earth descended from two people. And now we find out that the leading genetic scientists in the world are saying the same thing. Here is the first line in an article that appeared in the Daily Mail, one of the largest circulation papers in Britain: “All modern humans descended from a solitary pair.” Scientists from the Rockefeller University and the University of Basel surveyed the genetic codes of 5 million animals including humans and deduced that we sprang from a single pair of adults. One scientist who headed up the study said the conclusion was very surprising- because it’s at odds with evolutionary theory - and said he fought against it as hard as he could. Well, for those of us who believe the word of God, their conclusion is not surprising at all.

How much can one man take?

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. President Trump is receiving more incoming at one time than almost any president before him.The Democrats are united in their hatred for him, as are almost the entire media. People in his own administration are trying to sabotage him, terminate his presidency, and send him to prison. He’s a bit like Samson. Samson fooled around with women not his wife, and thought the source of his strength was his hair rather than God. At the end of his life, Samson called out to God, “Oh Lord God, please remember and strengthen me only this once.” God answered his prayer and worked a great victory. Let’s pray that President Trump will find his strength in God and not in himself. If he does he will bear up under the load; if he does not, the load will crush him.

What will Republicans do about homosexuality?

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Pete Buttigieg is an up and coming star in the Democrat Party and a candidate for president. He’s also an out, loud, and proud homosexual. This forces a conversation about where the Republican Party is headed on the issue of homosexuality. The GOP is sending confusing signals about their willingness to embrace the LGBT agenda as a part of their mythical Big Tent. But the more parts of the LGBT agenda the party embraces, the more evangelicals will be pushed out of the back of the tent. Now My objection to a homosexual candidate is not so much about his sexual orientation but about his sexual politics. The LGBT agenda represents the single greatest threat to religious liberty in American history. It’s time for the Republican Party to declare itself unambiguously on its view of the LGBT agenda, so everybody in America knows where Republicans stand.

Raising a generation of godly young men

With the American male under constant attack, the need of the hour is raise a generation of young men who know what biblical masculinity looks like. George Clooney: world’s leading Islamophobe

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The Islamic nation of Brunei will be implementing strict Sharia law this week. The penalty for thievery will be to have a hand and foot amputated. The penalty for adultery and for homosexuality will be death by stoning. Remember that these standards come from Allah himself through the so-called “prophet” Muhammad, and are recorded for all-time in the Qur’an. In other words, this is the real Islam, what true and authentic Islam looks like in practice. As the kingdom of Brunei itself says, these penalties are straight from the “teachings of Islam,” quote, end quote. Actor and activist George Clooney has called for a boycott of every luxury hotel owned by Brunei in protest. This makes Clooney the leading Islamophobe in the world, since he is condemning authentic Islam. Not even Clooney likes Islam when he sees it for what it really is.

What should replace ObamaCare? Absolutely nothing.

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. A court of appeals has already essentially declared ObamaCare unconstitutional, and it’s likely the Supreme Court will agree. Now the conversation is over what should replace it. The answer is nothing. Or better, what should replace it is the free market. Let’s get government out of the way and turn insurance companies loose to offer any kind of policies they want to consumers. That makes consumers the ultimate decision-makers, exactly how it ought to be in a free society. The only role for government in health care should be to enforce contracts. If you pay for health coverage you don’t get, government’s job is to make the insurance company keep its end of the deal. Government should not be telling insurance companies what kind of things they have to offer or can’t offer. That’s none of government’s business. Let’s put ordinary Americans in charge of America’s health care.

Jesus was right: the truth will set you free

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Jesus said that if you abide in my words, you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. President Trump can testify to that this week, as the truth finally came to the surface and exonerated him of all charges of collusion and obstruction. This despite the determined efforts of very dedicated and powerful people to keep the truth concealed from the American people. As Shakespeare said, the truth will out. It will find a way to break the shackles and illuminate things. Lincoln once said you can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you can’t fool all the people all of the time. CNN’s ratings have taken a dive, and Rachel Maddow lost a half million viewers overnight. They know now that Jesus, Shakespeare, and Lincoln were smarter than they thought.

The Green New Deal: Too Much Green, Nothing New

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal is taking center stage again. It got its first vote this week, in the United States Congress, where it failed 57-0. Not a single Democrat voted for it, and 4 even voted against. There are innumerable reasons to be against this deal, and not a single one in its favor. For one thing, it’s gonna cost way too much green - $93 trillion at last count. And there is nothing new in it. The Dutch have been converting wind to energy for centuries, and the sun has been heating the planet since the dawn of creation. On top of that, CO2 is not a threat to the environment - it’s plant food. And astronomers tell us we are headed into a solar minimum, which will decrease, not increase, global temperatures for the next several decades. The earth will be just fine until Jesus returns.
